I had to scroll way down for Hood and AIM. Doom popped right up. Sometimes Amazon is slow getting those pre-orders up. I've had that happen before. I'm also on PC. Not sure if that matters.

Why they didn't give Iron Man at least as much of a metallic paint look as they did AIM Scientist Supreme is beyond me. And why is the flame surrounding Dormammu's head just as red as the rest of his face? That wasn't what they showed previously...the yellow flames really made his eyes and mouth pop. Of all the ones they showed, he was the one I wanted most and now, meh. Maybe it will look better in hand.

Once again, trying to make sense of these guys' decisions is a lost cause.

We needed a new Red Skull, but I definitely think we've been getting drowned in Dooms and the AIM scientist was just lackluster. Hoping for classic Baron Zemo and Mandarin in the next villains wave.

Lady Deathstrike looks badass.

Arcade isn't a Day 1 purchase but definitely getting him.

Stoked for the seeming Excalibur reveal. Bring it on. Give me Shadowcat. Give me Rachel SUMMERS. Give me Meggan.

And for the X-men-Only collectors, that hoodless Hood (no idea who he is) figure can stand-in for Scrambler, the Korean Marauder from the Mutant Massacre Storyline. You're Welcome *evil laughter*

I am so happy to see we are finally getting Quasar!, he looks excellent, him and Nova are must gets for me, Civil Warrior easy pass, Iron Man repaint with clear head super easy pass, The bring on the bad guys wave, gotta say there was a few stings here, most of the wave is awesome I.E. Dormmamu, Red Skull, Lady Deathstrike, Scientist Supreme, I am however less pleased with the rest, the Hood is so awful looking IMO, old man Civiilan with a huge hood that sits badly on his head, I hate Arcade and he looks like Shaun White, I can't stand it, White Doom, sure it's okay..new parts are a nice touch, but do I need him No not at all....now do I need Xemnu YES! , am I dissapointed that he just looks like Wendigo with a few tweaks also yes. I really feel let down by the basic souless feel of Xemnu, I have always wanted him in figure form, and He really could have looked so much cooler, I mean it's Hasbro what could I expect, I still really want to build him.. I also really don't want Arcade and Hood, they stink IMO.

The Hood was in Avengers, a criminal who had a cloak controlled by a demon which made him invincible and he could teleport if I remember correctly. He and maybe Lady Deathstrike are the only ones of this wave I am currently interested in. Maybe Aim Supreme too. That red skull body sure would be perfect for a Mad Thinker.

I think he was one of the new nova corps member that rich started building after Annihilation conquest  iirc

while I’m a bit surprised they didn’t throw in a few extra heads to make him an army builder, selfishly I’m a bit relieved as it will probably make him a bit easier to find

I was so convinced the Hydra figure would be Red Skull, and I am so glad I was right. I think the Red Skull head that came with the Iron Skull figure is much better, so I hope it swaps easily. Lady Deathstrike looks fantastic, and so does Dormmamu. Odd choice for the BAF, but I am sure it will check a box for many collectors, so I'm happy for them.  Now can we get a Toad, and a Blob already?!

Remember when ToyBiz gave ML Deathlock red metallic paint but all their Iron Men were with flat colors? Same thing here, it's Iron Man curse.

So the more I look at it, the more I feel like maybe theres like a viewfinder like port or something on the back of his head where light can pass through and it will be more illuminated while the painted face part will stay dark to resemble dorms classic look. The part for his mouth kind of looks like something like that where its dark with no light shining through but is much brighter with a light source. Idk tho.

Just don't know how they messed this up....as I said I can only hope the in-hand figure will look more like the first pictures they showed. 'Cause I didn't come to bargain for this.

That's kind of the impression I get looking at it, too. I hope that's the case.

Aside from that...

Yeesh, the Hood... It looks like you can't even pose him with his arms raised to fire the guns without pushing the cloak off his shoulders. Not a great design, especially since his face is so extremely contorted he can't really pose neutrally. I have no affection for this character, so chances are I'll swap his head for some other random character and give his pistols to the Vintage wave Punisher.

I'm happy! Lady Deathstrike's hands...ewwww, but more of an awesome kind of ewwwww. I was just reading through some of Cap's classic battles with the Red Skull, so I'm super-stoked they went classic for this figure! Dormammu...major bucket-list check there, what a beauty!! Never liked Arcade, but I'm getting him because he'll still look awesome in my X-Men display. And Quasar....niiiice. Love the 80s/ 90s hair. Might get an extra one to put that hair on my Captain Mar-Vell 😄.

I never had anything for this character either, and the figure even less so. You're right, they just stuck the cloak on a random figure and phoned it in.

Well, that's kind of his character design though, isn't it?  I also don't care about the character at all, and agree that the cloak could have probably been executed better.  However, if I did care about the character, I bet I would think those magic bullet effects were pretty neat.

i dunno, looks like they just included the gun blast effects that came with black widow and the curling energy effects that came with Scarlet Witch/mcu Carol/retro Doom, and put them together.  but they do look good in the promo pics

That Hood figure is so lazy. Lady Deathstrike's hands look dull. Doom is decent. Skull looks good. Dormammu is okay. Scientist Supreme and Arcade are the only good ones imo. 

I'm really hoping that Xemnu is bigger than Hulk because he's supposed to tower over him, if not then that's a big let down especially after Sasquatch being super short, looking at it I think Xemnu is too short from all the BAF pieces in package, shame.

Idk this whole wave feels super lazy

No. They could have used a cloak that actually looks like it fits on the guy. If they weren't gonna try soft goods, then use a very pliable light material, and something that flows with the figure. This thing is just tossed on like an after thought.
