Marvel legends custom Sasquatch

I haven't been in this forum for some years now. But I'm back with many new skills and talents to show case. 

 

First off is a figure I've always wanted to perfect. But alas there is always something to change to give it that extra something. Is it comic accurate? Not really. Just a interpolation of a sasquatch. 

He scales at about 10 feet tall in the comics so naturally he need to be select size. If you are curious about the tuff on his shoulders I always imagined a similar look to a gorilla.  

The base body is BAF Abomination, the new one. The upper torso was split down the center and broadened. The arms where extended as well. Hands are from Red Hulk.

The feet were sculpted as well as most all the hair. The head was 3d modeled and printed using a photon printer. 

The color of his coat was the hardest to capture. Painted it maybe 6 times with various tones. And yes I play with my custom to work out paint rub. Just have to when it snows.

Just great stuff here. Sasquatch is just an amazing underrated character and IMO the best Alpha Flight character. 

I get how you want that perfect representation of one of your favorite characters. To this day I am still over the moon for that Black Knight Legend we got a few years ago. Minor gripes aside he is near the perfect version I could ask for. Full disclosure, I did spend some cash and customize my 98% perfect BK by doing some minor cosmetic changes,  x-acto knifing off the tunic cloth, adding an extra Multiple Man head ( I had no connection to MM so his alt head became my default Dane Whitman head).. the extra cash spent came from the arduous task of dremeling out the angry face from the wingless helmet and creating an headless helmet  look. Not easy as I destroyed my first attempt. Now, I have my dream version of BK.

I was satisfied with the Sasquatch we got. I’m not a scale Nazi and the actual sculpt was near perfect. In my mind he was taller than Guardian and the rest of AF so good enough. However, your version shows what the BAF we got could have been. Again, just great stuff. You have amazing skills

Also... I’m THAT dork that is a believer in a true Cryptid Bigfoot / Sasquatch. I love that you have implemented many of the “traditional”  features of the mythic Sasquatch. ( as well as what John Byrne first created). That brow is very squatchy!

would love to see you add an angry “screaming” head. 

and overall I’m a lover of all things “monsterous” .. would love to add him to my collection.

Now THAT'S how you do it, Hasbro. Call me a scale Nazi, call me an angry fan boy, but this is what it shoulda been. This cat did this thing with scraps and putty and his bare hands and you (Hasbro) have all the resources in the world and you just mailed it in.

I swear, if I had the capital to fund this thing being cast and molded for market sale I would in a heartbeat and bet it would make a pretty decent killing.

This is an outstanding scale accurate Sasquatch that a customizer just put Hasbro's version  to shame with!  Hasbro mailed in their version by being too lazy to add 2 more inches in hgt & giving us a scale accurate 10' tall Sasquatch! Once they did him at the 8.5' scale, they should have done the Hulk at a 7' scale so Walt could still be taller than him. But no, they make the Hulk 8.5' tall as well & Colossus too! None of those 2 should be the same hgt as Sasquatch! Hasbro needs to re-do Walt in a deluxe package at his correct 10' scale with angry alternate head & alternate fists/ open clawing hands. What we should've gotten in the 1st place!
