New Marvel Select 7" The Falcon And Winter Soldier Falcon Figure Revealed - SPOILERS

Thanks to a heads up from Alan we have images that come via the Official Disney store at taoba, for new Shop Disney Marvel Select 7" exclusive figures.

Shown below is a comic book based Winter Soldier which is just a re-issue of a figure already been released by Diamond Select. Its possible it could have slight paint deco changes but I don't know for sure. The second figure however is new. It appears to be based on Falcon from the new Disney+ The Falcon And The Winter Soldier series. You can see the logo for the show on the packaging. The figure shows him in a Falcon Cap outfit very similar to what he wore in the comics when he took over for Captain America there. Based on the oufit we almost thought this was a comic book based figure, however the Captain America shield included with the figure clearly has the MCU markings on it as seen in the new series. So we assume this is MCU based. The figure description on the site does not distinguish if its comic based or MCU based.

The figure comes with the shield, removable wings and pack as well as multiple hands. The figures looked to be priced at $45 each. You may recall back in January we saw an image of a Hasbro Titan Series figure pop up online showing Sam in a similar outfit from the show.

...wow. Good job Disney lol. It’s weird, all the merch for Wandavision was kept under pretty tight wraps, this is now the second time maybe the biggest spoiler from this show has been revealed. Marvel Legends have to be soon right? I mean come on.

The Sam Cap looks good, I'm impressed with the stepping up DST has been doing as of late, the winter soldier on the other hand...looks a bit like a few steps back.

I know everyone is saying, this is what the ML version will likely look almost identical too, and don't forget the wings!

I just thought...what if..... Sam's wings are the BAF for the D+ wave... ! oh no.

Biggest Spoiler? This was the most obvious conclusion since the end of Endgame.

I love costume design and figure,  it's probably better alternate Cap costume variation, but still wish they would include helmet, it just makes no sense he has no head protection and leaves his head vulnerable and of course single jointed elbows are weak.

True, but they seem like they’re trying to keep it under wraps anyway. Plus we don’t know how he becomes Cap and we didn’t know what his suit looked like until these figures. The suit reveal could have been potentially even better than Wanda’s if handled right, given how faithful it is.

The Falcon's never had a helmet so its not surprising they didn't give him one. I would agree, though, that someone (non-enhanced human) who flies at the speeds and heights he does, would likely not only have a visor and helmet, but also some kind of breathing apparatus. Problem is, the Falcon's been around for about 50 years and his look (except for one mercifully brief period where the cowl covered his entire head and it looked like he had Goliath's antennae) has remained the same, and fans get used to seeing that. His latest outfit is now red/black instead of red/white and for me, red/white is his iconic look.

I don't want to dis on this... but I hope that Falcon's costume is what we get in ML... I mean, it's way better than the previous attempts and IMO much more Sam Wilson than Falcon Cap... I mean, I'd get it, but not as joyfully as I'd get the Falcon from the show.

Falcon not my thing especially this outfit or this line they are made for #$## and i have never been satisfied with the quality that comes from dst . Never been a huge falcon fan .
