Depends on the figures really. The T'Challa Star-Lord is a given, which gets a rousing "meh" from me. If they do a Super-Peggy I'm there. Anything else is a wait and see.

For the most part, I'm just not that enthused where What If is concerned.

I agree, especially being animated it just doesn't really feel like a necessary aspect of the MCU, at least compared to the other shows that we're only getting 2-4 figures for. My biggest issue with it isn't that I don't think the figures will be good, I just think it's a waste for them to put 6+ What If figures in a Disney+ wave when we still need a bunch of characters from other shows that could have comprised another wave and What If has enough stuff to make its own wave. Hopefully we get a wave 3 later this year with some live-action holes filled.

If they could give What If? practically its own wave they could have given the other shows their own wave

my guess is that since what if is animated they will be able to reuse more parts than they could if it were a live mcu series. who knows though. i definitely agree that more figures for these mcu series would've been appreciated. i wouldn't be surprised if hasbro ends up doing a bunch of $50 two-packs for these series in a year or so

The What If? figures should be visually interesting, since they've all never been done before, but my excitement level for the wave will depend greatly on the quality of the show.

My guess is that they had more access to the materials from, and Disney is less spoiler-worried about, the What If? series than the stuff that ties in to the MCU. The Mandalorian was HUGE, but Hasbro semmed to underestimate how popular it would be, and Disney really wanted to keep Grogu/"Baby Yoda" under wraps, so it took them a good 6 or 7 months AFTER the premier to get Grogu toys to market, and they've been playing catch-up with characters from it ever since. My guess/hope is that it's a situation like that, and we will get more figures from the Disney+ series a ways down the line, maybe as 2-packs or single boxed individual releases, or maybe a whole additional wave. It seems odd that they'd devote basically a whole wave to an untested concept like an animated series that's more "grown-up," and doesn't tie in to The MCU, but it's more intriguing than the Avengers video game figures, I suppose.

Now that Hasbro has done Fantastic Four and [soon] Iron Man waves, there are easily enough characters for one or two Captain America comic waves.

Yeah. Besides the aforementioned characters, there are a lot I can think of just off of the top of my head- classic Falcon, Bucky Cap, Ultimate Cap (regular outfit), Baron Zemo 1, Baron Zemo 2 in his more classic Bronze Age costume; Golden Age Cap and Bucky need to be re-done, and a Cap wave would be great for a much-needed re-do of the classic Hydra Soldier. Maybe a Sleeper Robot BAF...??

Yeah I could see some two packs happening, Halloween Wanda and Vision, Walker as Cap with Battlestar...

Yes to every bit of this. A new us agent, diamondback (any serpents for that matter), WWII Cap and Bucky, Spitfire, Baron Strucker, Madam Hydra/Viper, Sin, Mother Night, Master Mann, warrior woman...I could go on.

I think it makes more sense with What If, with that show being an anthology and thus having way more characters in it than the others. But now that you say that, I'd love a full wave per show. Would get pretty expensive though.

OOooooh, yeah, how could I forget how much we need an updated Strucker. Such an important villain, and we've only gotten that awkward Toy Biz one.

They seemed to be giving us Serpent Society members at a fairly regular rate, but now it has been a while- hopefully they just got a bit sidetracked with the video game figures, etc., and will start do do that again.

The thing is, though, Hasbro has no idea how well-received the What If? series will be. There is guaranteed demand for anything that ties in to The MCU, so, to me, it seems an odd choice.

I really hope so.

Hey, the guys did tease that one of the figures they're working on this year has a tail. Maybe it's Bushmaster!!!

This wave is starting to look outrageously phoned in. US Agent with no shield, Bucky with no weapons and splitting Sam's wings off to be the BAF is all super underwhelming. I'll pick up Wanda, maybe Zemo and doubtfully anything else.

The MCU versions never really impressed me, and I was able to pick up some customized wings for Captain (Falcon) America (or maybe I should just call him FalconCap) so all in all this looks like a pass for my wallet. Now that Scarlet Witch may be a different story. We'll see.

Ha, that would be awesome- he would add some nice variety, but I'm guessing he's the last one we'd see, with the unique tooling for his bottom half. I'm sure Hasbro will never make all of The Serpent Society, but it would be nice to have 3 or 4 more (especially if they mix in at least one of the bigger ones, like Anaconda or Puff Adder.). While I'm a big fan of The MCU, with all of the DIsney+, the video game figures (which seem to be done, or mostly..?), etc., I really hope Hasbro makes sure they keep making a good amount of comic-based figures.

Episode 2

Definitely didn't see Battlestar showing up for the show. VERY glad to see Carl Lumbly (as Isaiah) though! M.A.N.T.I.S in the house! Can't wait to see what they do with these guys....clearly different so far from the books, but really interested in how their story will be told. Also, with only 2 episodes done, and 2 great ones at that, I'm concerned that 6 episodes isnt going to be enough to do the material justice. Guess we'll wait and see.

Isaiah would be a fantastic addition to the line, and Patriot needs a remake along with the rest of his team incredibly badly.

It's ironic that when Toy BIz did the Young Avengers they completely missed out on the girls, now Hasbro has done the girls and missed out on the lads
