Yawn. Marvels Katy may out bore the entire boring Eternals wave.

ive picked her up and tried dong anything with her. You just can’t. No dynamic poses, no “slightly looks like she is moving poses”, nothing. 

I get it, Hasbro’s face printing is amazing, it actually looks like the actor. This does not detract from the fact that this is a civilian woman in a red dress that stands really nicely. 

Ill give a very slight nod to Shang Chi himself and to an extent Wenwu. They kinda look like ACTION FIGURES. But Marvels Katy and from what I’ve read Death Dealer, as far as action figures go , make really nice statues.

This was one more reason for me to pass on the figure. Hasbro does have thinner, softer, more pliable plastic to use (something like the jacket used for Elsa Bloodstone) so they shouldve gone with that instead. I'm glad to she's not quite as limited in articulation as I originally thought, but really, they could have slit a seam on the opposite side of the robe so that leg could move too. Sure, that kind of garment likely wouldnt have that slit, but this is a situation where a little compromise is necessary.

The weapons will go well with the Hand army builders. That doesn't look like a traditional Japanese bow (since she's Chinese) but I think it could still work anyway. Assassins just wanna get the job done, after all.

They are just killing it with these faces lately!

I wish they have gone with more street clothes look she had in trailers, which would have way more functional articulation and likely would sell better due to collectors always wanting new civilians for their display.
