New Marvel Legends Reveal Coming This Friday (7/2) - What's In The Box???

Marvel's own Ryan Penagos has announced he is gonna be making a new Hasbro Marvel Legends reveal this coming Friday (7/2) at 12pm ET on his Twitter account. The only thing he is showing for this reveal right now is this big box. We have no idea what's inside the box but we are definitely intrigued. If you are to then be sure to check back in two days when we all get to see what's inside.

Well now that they've extended the ML brand to pretty much all things related to Marvel, I suppose it could be anything and doesn't necessarily pertain to action figures. I'm gonna predict it's something weird like Spider-Punk's guitar.

This is the first thing that came to mind when i saw this box, it looks like an instrument case for touring stage shows, if it's a Spider-Punk guitar.. wow just wow Hasbro.

Yea. Your right on that. The real question is what book is it sitting on? That may be a hint. Anyone recognize the art at the bottom of the cover?

The image on the book is the Great Wave of Kanagawa. I'm betting it's just a notebook with the painting on the cover, the sort that they sell at bookstores everywhere.

If nothing else the notebook at least provides a sense of scale. It’s not some huge item.

Ach! At first glance I thought it was a foot locker, and was thinking WW II....Cap's shield in the background...maybe a box set of Golden Age types!?

But a second later I realized it looks more like a touring case.

Very curious. Does his use of the word "piece" imply it's just one thing? I.e. not a box set or something like that? It's gotta be some sort of role play item if that's the case, no single figure would be that tall outside of Surtur and it's not big enough to be Galactus. Guess we'll find out soon.

The term piece and general size implies role-playing item to me for sure, though I'd love to be surprised by a box set of some kind.

It looks like that’s actually cardboard packaging just designed to look like an ATA flight case, so it has to be something music or travel-related or else it would be a bizarre choice of packaging.

Comes with a rockabilly style Modok which is a variant of their regular release Deluxe Modok figure. He comes with shades. The set also comes with The Captain from the Next Wave series. You get extra hands and shades along with cheeseburger weapons and stand for Modok. The Captain has an alternate head.
