Is Hugh Jackman Hinting At An MCU Appearance?!?

I’ve heard rumors of a Wolverine vs Hulk show or movie, which would see Hulk going back to a more savage state, which would be cool. I’d be ok keeping Jackman on as Wolverine, with as iconic as he became in the role, it would be weird to see anyone else play the character, but I think Marvel would do a good job at recasting. Either way, his posts were pretty cryptic.

Honestly, I wish the MCU would stay the F@$# away from any Multiverse shenanigans.

Look no further than DC comics and how well they handle their Multiverse. Time travel served as a means to an end in <ahem> EndGame but they are heading for a slippery slope here...

Same here, No Road Home already sounds dodgy with reports of unnecessary past spideys and villains.

Okay, that was in 2012. Are there superhero or comic book movies you like that came out between the film serials of the 1940s and 2011?

By no means comprehensive (THAT list would make Maltin’s book look like a theatre pamphlet), these are more like the highlights. I’m also sticking strictly with your time-line and only those movies that were actually theatrically released.

Howard the Duck

Hero at Large

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

Supergirl

Flash Gordon

Buck Rogers in the 25th. Century

The Phantom

The Rocketeer

The Shadow

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: The Movie

Max Steel

Man of Steel

Superman vs. Batman

Captain America: The First Avenger

Thor

Wonder Woman

Daredevil

Punisher (2004)

Elektra

Amazing Spider-Man

There, is mine as long as yours now? 😎

Sure. Last flight of Chris Reeve as Superman, Margot Kidder AND Gene Hackman were back, Mariel Hemingway was gorgeous, what's not not to like? Granted, it's not Shakespeare, but neither was Guardians of the Galaxy.

Lenny Luthor.

I don't mind Superman IV, I prefer it to Superman III. It's a shame it didn't have a better budget or writing, it could ahve been a really good send off.

I think I’m going to rewatch all of these. I’ll report back. May be a little while.

Sounds like a great way to burn off a weekend (several weekends?).

Personally, I'm waiting for my Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD DVD to arrive from Amazon UK, then I plan on marathoning the Marvel TV movies.
