Marvel Legends Upper Deck Trading Cards At Gamestop

Gamestop yesterday started a promo that is said to last the week involving Upper Deck Marvel trading cards and Hasbro Marvel Legends action figures.

The Upper Deck cards are called the Marvel Legends Series. When you buy a Marvel Legends action figure at Gamestop they will throw in a pack that contains Marvel Trading Cards from Upper Deck. each pack contains 1 foil card. I am not sure how many total cards are being done in this Marvel Legends Upper Deck card series, but the cards themselves are reminiscent of the Marvel Trading Cards done back in the 90s. See some image that come via Facebook.

Interesting.  Wonder if some of these listed tip off some future releases i.e. Mephisto, BlackHeart, etc...?

I'll be honest, I read your comment before I looked at all of the images and kind of dismissively and wrongly laughed at it, but when you follow down that checklist on the back of the Thanos card - it does look a whole lot like the recent Xemnu villains wave makes the first part of the checklist (minus Doom)... which can only make you wonder if the second half is indeed an unintended spoiler for another villains wave (or just upcoming figures in general). We've already recently gotten Kang, Leader and a deluxe Thanos...  but Mephisto, Blackheart, Terrax and new comic versions of Abomination and Zemo perhaps coming soon?  Only time will tell, I guess!

A Mephisto/Blackheart 2-pack would be pretty sweet and I could totally see that being a fan channel exclusive rather than a mass retail offering....   Abomination could absolutely be a deluxe figure that might be released to coincide with his appearances in the Shang Chi movie and She-Hulk TV show...

I have versions of all all of these characters that I'm perfectly happy with but would probably still pick up a couple of them, with Mephisto and Terrax being the most likely.

Shown below via ToyBro is a look at the third wave of Upper Deck Marvel Legends trading cards which are offered exclusively at Gamestop stores. Wave three includes cards featuring the following:

31- Ironhart
32- Ultron
33- Iron Monger
34- Hulk
35- Captain America
36- Iron Man
37- War Machine
38- Crimson Dynamo
39- Black Widow
40- Dreadknight
41- Drax The Destroyer
42-Justin Hammer
43- Whiplash
44- M.O.D.O.K.
45- Titanium Man

And no there is no correlation between the characters featured on these cards and actual Marvel Legends figures being released.

That's the Ironheart armor I was hoping for in the Legends wave.

I'm sure that it's coming. With her expected to be in both Wakanda Forever and Armor Wars, I'm expecting we'll see this comic version around the time of one of those and an MCU version  around the time of the other.
