Hands down my favorite figure from this line. He looks fantastic standing at the back of the Ragnarok display. I do wish he came with a separate skull piece with the crown though.

Looks really cool! I may be tempted to get this one if ever found at a good discount. I don’t remember all the costume variations  they’ve put on MCU figures — is there one of Thor that looks he does at the beginning of the movie?

Thanks Shart for another good review! But I think he's a nice height, we get the idea he is supposed to tower over the other characters. Is it perfect? No, but in the movie if I recall, he was like building sized compared to hulk when hulk tried jumping on him LOL. We'd need another haslab just for that size accuracy lol. So, I'm not complaining and cannot wait to get him. His sculpt and paint apps are good, I like the translucent plastic. And the sword is dope as hell! We need a new Mephisto to go with him!

I can't wait to get him delivered! Surtur has been one of my all-time top wants for the 20 years I've been collecting Marvel Legends. And it's probably a good thing it was the MCU version we got... the comic version with curved devil horns and a long red tail looks too satanic for most retailers to want to carry in the kids toy aisle. But I will always hope for a comic version, who knows?!

That makes no sense whatsoever. The comic version isn't any more or less "satanic" than this one. Oh, now a tail makes the difference?? Posters to this forum have been saying forever the nonsense that marvel would "never" do surtur mephisto whoever 'cause "it looks like the devil and retailers would never carry it". Well they had Darkheart  and Red Goblin. Not to mention Demogoblin.  It was a ridiculous premise, and now that Surtur's here, its even more so.

Target did. I don't know if Toys R Us did, but I do know they used to sell those monster high/dead girls/coffin packaging figures.

Ok. I assumed they did but I couldn’t remember. I was just thinking that if hellboy can be at retail then pretty much all marvel should be fair game right?
