Mondo last month during their Comic-Con at home event revealed they would be doing a brown costume variant of their X-Men Animated Series Wolverine figure they are calling the Pryde of the X-Men version. They released a teaser image today and said it will claw your way next week. I assume that's when it will be made available for pre-order.

Before he donned the yellow & blue spandex, Wolverine rocked a yellow & brown look in 1989's X-Men: The Animated Series pilot. We pay tribute to this original aesthetic with our "Pryde of the X-Men" variant, complete with four swappable heads, retracted and extended claws, lightning claw energy effect, and glossy photo, which can be swapped out with a photo of your choosing as well, and, of course, a turkey leg.

No longer bed-bound like our SDCC Edition, this Logan is packaged upright and ready for action. Don't worry though, they still have that glossy Jean Grey and Cyclops photo to keep him wistful.

WOLVERINE: PRYDE OF THE X-MEN Variant - Limited Edition. Design & Paint by Hector Arce. Sculpt by Tufan Sezer & Hector Arce. Packaging Design by Mike Bonanno. $200. Limited to 500.

Payment plan option is available and for US residents only
Expected shipping in Spring 2022
Limit of 2 figures per person, household, etc.

Available tomorrow (8/24) at 12PM CT, on The Drop.

What a throwback. I never expected "Pryde of the X-Men" to ever be acknowledged by marvel in anyway. Now I just hope they make enough of these that they don't sell out in 20 seconds. Fat chance, I know.

Took somewhere between 45 minutes and 59 minutes. The SDCC exclusive lasted about twice as long.
