Shown below via Unparalleled Universe is the Captain America figure which will be part of the Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary wave from Hasbro. This is a tribute wave to the original Toy Biz Marvel Legends wave. Other figures that should be in the wave will include Iron Man, Hulk an Toad though that has not yet been officially confirmed by Hasbro. Each figure comes with a diorama and comic. Like Captain America, Iron Man and Hulk will likely be re-issues with slight modification while Toad will be a new figure. The figure will retail for $31.99.

These figures will be released as fan-channel exclusives which means available at online etailers like our sponsor BigBadToyStore.com.

I would say it's weird that's he is a fan channel exclusive but then again all of this years anniversary set have been fan channel exclusives as well.

At this point, if it's not Wal-something exclusive, I'll take it.

"Fan-channel exclusive" pretty much amounts to "pre-order it online", which I do as a matter of course for any figure I want these days.

I prefer the darker blue and the headsculpt of the original release, I can't help but recall the 90s movie Captain America when I see this new headsculpt. However, I can't deny this looks like an excellent alternative, especially since I've heard so many people having trouble to find the 80 Years Cap. It also comes with some neat accessories, but the holey shield is a bit questionable.

Can't wait to see what will Hasbro do for Iron Man, especially since they just released a brightly-colored repaint of the 80 Years figure. Maybe the colors will be a bit less saturated?

I always thought that Cap's suit should be darker blue, to match the center of the shield and more closely resemble the American flag. However he did have a lighter blue most of his 80 year existence, and usually the forehead of the mask was darkened, but I'm not complaining. And its weird but his face here almost looks like Matt Salinger (from the abominable 90s movie). I LOVE the chain mail, and the new effects for the shield!! Adding butterfly joints would really improve this mold. Otherwise THIS is how Captain America should be presented.

welp, we were expecting a classic Cap redo out of 80 years Cap and we're getting it, kinda liking it, i'd likely go for the unmasked head sculpt personally, though if they is indeed a Hulk for this tribute wave i'm looking forward for him mostly compared to the rest.
