Im just not seeing how they would deliberately be boosting to whatever price they want right now out of pure greed. and during like the country’s worst & highest inflation rate ever? I mean if so… that’s pretty dirty.

Sadly, price gouging is nothing new. But hey, I agree with you, I wouldn't have believed Hasbro would pull something like this, but here we are. This isn't a couple disgruntled collectors throwing shade, it's all right there.

The price is 31.99, a full 8 bucks more than a Basic ML figure . . . but with slightly less than they usually come with.

That's why I'm glad I just collect comic based figs and not MCU figs as well. I pretty much have cherry picked only comic based figures per wave for the past few yrs. Only waves I've bought in full was due to the BAF being comic based & on my want list. I've sold off the MCU figs in the wave to offset the purchase. The price increases in this line don't bother me as much cuz this is the only line I collect unlike some of you who have the cheddar to collect 4-5-6 different lines.

Did that black widow deluxe ever get reused for another figure or other widow? I know War Machines has not been reused. This Cap is a reuse of the 80th so they cut some costs on that as well with only some minor new sculpting.

Deluxe Black Widow got reused as Melina Vostokoff. And while War Machine didn't get reused, the figure itself was a partial retool with the upper legs of the 80 Years Iron Man, the flight effects from Iron Man 2020 and the gunfire and smoke effects from the Deadly Origin Black Widow.

And wasn't the deluxe Black Widow almost a complete reuse of the Crimson Dynamo wave one?

That's all well and good, but if Hasbro is charging 8.00 extra, LITERALLY for nothing more than the word "Anniversary" on the packaging, is this really a line we WANT to collect?

Oh, I completely agree, I didn't mean to imply that I'm happy bout the freaking price jumps, was just stating that being as I cherry pick & only collect comic based ML figs, it doesn't hurt my wallet as much as those of you that feel compelled to buy entire waves & collect both Comic based & MCU figs plus other lines. Hasbro better start including 3 sets of hands & 2 alternate heads with every figure pretty soon if they wanna justify these price hikes.

Since we haven't seen the packaging can we at least hold out hope of a collectible comic being included? It's Hasbro, what am I thinking! 😂

These came with your toybiz legends? I have never heard that before. Wonder why you didn’t get the comics? These do look cool though.

Yeah, the first few waves anyway. I'm guessing it was due to the fact that comics weren't in multiple languages  but I'm not sure.

Mostly due to licencing. Hell when hasbro released Transformers (their own brand) here over here we couldn't get the comic they came with.
