16 inch Sentinel - X-Men the Animated Series

Here is my take on the 16 inch Sentinel from a 3D printer that I purchased. It came in many tiny pieces. I built it myself and made some custom changes to the original sculpt.  He is fully articulated. .Hope you like it. He is pictured with my other customs. As one of the pictures shows he is in scale to how he was drawn in the first episodes. They drew the Sentinels different sizes and colors as the show went on. I like these colors. Was difficult to get the face color on-model, just the right shade. Here are some pix. As you can see in 1 pic, his colors match Magneto's [also a custom]. He is pictured with my other 5 inch ToyBiz customs

Thanks 4 looking

He is in Mexico....and shipping to the US is like $80........which I paid because this just a perfect sentinel form the show that hasbro will never make I think..once in a lifetime chance to make one.....he has a kit for sale, but it is a slow process....it took me 2 - 3 months to get this from him....I dont think he wantss to build them anymore..but maybe for enuf $$$ he will.....I built mine myself from the many little pieces...and I painted it myself.........

Looks very cool.

How is the articulation in the legs? Every pic is standing straight up and together. Are you able to bend them into dynamic poses?

Hi everyone, I´m the designer of this from dioramax. The joints are the same as most of marvel legends figures. I started this project because I wanted  a classic sentinel  to play with, considering that, I planned to use abs plastic, wich is the same plastic a lot of toys are made of (not pla, very popular in the "maker" community). Secondly, the color of the plastic should mimic the final paint so if it were to get damaged, It wouldn´t look so obvious. Anyway, to answer your question: no, the painting would not peel off, every joint was designed to avoid friction.
