Deadline has confirmed that Gaspard Ulliel, one of the stars of Marvel’s upcoming Moon Knight series, has died following a ski accident.  News Agency AFP originally reported the story.  He was 37 years old.

The actor was hospitalized Tuesday after suffering a head injury and did not recover. He was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Grenoble following a collision on the slopes in the Savoie region.

He is to play Midnight Man in the upcoming Moon Knight series, with Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke.  No information was provided if Ulliel's scenes were already filmed or who the studio may get to replace him.
