Lyric Ross Joins Marvel & Disney+ 'Ironheart' Series

Lyric Ross is the latest addition to sign onto the upcoming series Ironheart from Marvel and Disney+.

The new series stars Dominique Thorne as teenager Riri Williams, a genius inventor, who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.  The series also stars Anthony Ramos.  Ross is believed to be playing Williams’ best friend.

The character was first introduced into Marvel comics in 2016 and was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato.

Ross is credited with This is Us, USA’s Sirens, and NBC’s Chicago Fire.

Not familiar with Ross, but on appearance only she more resembles RiRi rather than Thorne. Whatever, as long as it's a good show.

She reminds me of Riri's childhood friend Natalie. If they go the route of the comics, I could see Ross playing both Natalie and N.A.T.A.L.I.E.
