The Ideal Legends Comic Spiderman

With all the new Spidermen on the way what is everyone's ideal version?

A) Spiderman retro (the current favorite)

B) Spiderman renew your vows (the expected new favorite)

C) Amazing Fantasy Spiderman

D) Pizza Spidey (the OG favorite)

E) Spiderman and his Amazing Friends

F) Spiderman TAS retro (cell shaded)

G) (hypothetical) Spiderman TAS w/o cell shading and comic head

Personally I would go with B) but if G) were real (and also came with the toe articulation) I think that would be my perfect and ideal Spiderman.

Renew Your Vows is pretty great looking, but Honestly I am so not that picky, I really loved the Retro Spidey, and honestly I like the smaller Spider Symbol and eyes on Retro, I'm not a big enough stickler for a Spidey fig that I'm highly concerned, if Spinnerett didn't come with a Spidey, I'd have just stuck with Retro. I'm buying that pack for MJ, the spidey is just a extra gift. so I guess my final answer is Retro is cool with me, but the Renew Your vows does seem superior, if I had no Spidey's and had to pick one over the other I'd probably pick Renew Your Vows.

RYV does seem superior over the retro, for me it's because of the pinless joints. I was never a huge fan of the neck though. I do prefer the Amazing Fantasy buck for it's slender build and the disc hinge neck joint.

Yes Pinless joints, toe articulation (which really works for a nimble character like spidey), and all of the good stuff that was the retro, I do like the Amazing Fantasy, but I actually prefer a buffer bigger Spidey, my Favorite period for spidey was the 90's where he was more grown, the Ron Lim, Erik Larsen and Mark Bagley a bit Buffer bigger 90's look, that was my Spider-Man era.

For now, it's the Retro Spidey, I like the RYV Spidey, except I'm not sure I like the reused Pizza Spidey head sculpt on there.  At the same time, if we're talking ideal Spidey here, I'd like a buck between the Retro Spidey and Pizza Spidey.  Something with just a bit less muscle definition than the Retro Spidey, but not quite as thin as Pizza Spidey.  And of course, a disc hinge neck for this hypothetical perfect Spidey.

I'm with you on the body. That's why I can't wait to see the Amazing Fantasy Spiderman, I think it may fall in that sweet spot. Plus the disc hinge too.

If it does, I might just get that Amazing Friends boxset for a red and blue version.
