GeekHangover takes a look at the new Marvel Black Panther Legends Series M'Baku Action Figure from Hasbro.  This figure is sold as a Target Exclusive in the United States.

I've found Target exclusives before, but still no sign of this guy.

Just doesn't appear the MCU put much thought into design for this character. He just comes off as generic to me; I really would be interested in a comic classic Man Ape though.

Got this figure reduced at SMYTHS and he is very good, also nice to be able to get a BAF for cheaper than a regular figure

he's a cool figure but that skirt really limits his articulation imo.  Certainly better to pay $25 than try and buy the BAF in the aftermarket. 

If they were smart they would've thrown in a couple of extra heads to make him an army builder, oh well.

So true about the skirt. I would actually buy this version because I love MBaku and I like this deco. But every time I take my BAF out I’m disappointed all over again at how his legs literally can’t move.

The heavy plastic IS troublesome. But I’d rather Hasbro use plastics than cloth for Legends. Waaaay back when I was collecting DC Super Powers figures I hated the cloth capes. 

I’ve no solution to offer on how Hasbro can continue to use plastic but keep articulation but if they move to cloth I’d be bummed.

I saw him in excess twice at separate Targets but lately he is down to just a few at most stores. I recall people being excited about the chance to get MBaku but with so many in stores I figured they were passing. Now it seems this guy is getting snagged up

The Target exclusive I haven’t seen yet Is the Noir / Ham ...uhhh... 2 pack. I’ve seen every Spidey released so far but this “set “ has been elusive so far

Yeah, I've not seen him anywhere. Not that the figure was quickly sold, it was never in stock. But who knows, perhaps some time down the line I'll find him. The Noir-Ham pack is a different story, as I've come across it at least in one store, but not really interested in it. If you are, good luck in your quest.

i'm not gonna lie this gave me a chance to finally have my hands on some black panther figures but please explain to me why most of these collectors who already had these in there hand just buying them just to be buying them lol they are literally the same figures but with repaints smh i guess the things a person would buy i went through every store to find me at least one figure and found nothing oh well better luck next time.

Some are reviewers you have to try and review the latest products, others are completists and some may want the figure to customise.

The way this is designed, they could have easily cut enough of a seam in the lower part to enable some leg articulation. Odd!
