Notice the Secret Wars comic next to Wade in the final scene of the trailer. Also the scene right before where Wade gets blown off his feet is in a place with snow (Possible the same place Age of Ultron opens up with where the Avengers are fighting Hydra) but here he is on the ground in some desert rock barren place. So the scene before this one and this scene probably aren't connected but they tried to make you think they were.

Could this place in the final scene be Battle World????  Let the theories and rumors begin.

Some people are even claiming to see Doom in the trailer, though it's unlikely

It's still seems weird to me that this is the only MCU proper movie that we're getting this year, although understandable due to the writers' and actors' strikes. It's also still weird to consider Ryan Reynolds Deadpool and Hugh Jackman Wolverine as MCU proper. This is the ONLY movie that I'm even somewhat looking forward to in all of 2024. Although I'm sure that I'll watch Sony's Madame Web, Kraven and Venom 3 all at some point, it likely won't be until they hit streaming. Maybe I'll see Venom 3 in the movie theater but certainly not going that route for Madame Web or Kraven. Overall it's likely going to be a pretty boring year for content compared to the rest of the past decade.

I think this is just the perfect time to let these two legends scrap literally everything in both the MCU and FSU and reboot everything. I suspect all the Disney+ project being put on hold and cancelled might have something to do with it. If they're smart anyway. Recast all the OG's though RDJ and the Chris's and ScarJo will always be remembered and appreciated. I'll miss the Ruddman but Garafalafalo can pound salt and should start like right now. But now is the time. Especially with the DCU and the Gunnverse creeping up quickly with eyes on unseating the MCU. Take everything down to zero. Use the TVA and the Multiverse to reset and reboot and let's get back on track. I mean minus Spidey. Which let's face it. Sony will never let go. This thing looks amazing and I'm so excited to see just how many Easter Eggs and callbacks are going to be in it. The possibilities are absolutely endless.

Not 100% sure, but one shot did look like Doom to me. Haven't watched it on my TV yet, only my phone.

Nope. At least that better not be Doom. It really doesnt look anything like him. Just green clothes and a metal mask, but not Doom.

During CinemaCon, Shawn Levy, the director of Deadpool and Wolverine, informed Screen Rant that despite Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Deadpool, the upcoming Marvel film will not bear the title Deadpool 3.

Quote

“As far as crafting the Deadpool and Wolverine story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles,” Levy told Screen Rant during CinemaCon. “It also gave me an opportunity. It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”

Deadpool & Wolverine is scheduled to make its debut in cinemas on July 26, 2024. Directed by Levy, the movie was co-written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy.

Marvel and Disney presented a public service announcement at CinemaCon with Deadpool & Wolverine addressing individuals who refuse to turn off their cellphones during movies. A reliable source confirms that the PSA showcased at CinemaCon is planned for theatrical release, although the Marvel/Deadpool team is currently refraining from providing further details.

Quote

The spot began with Deadpool telling Wolverine about his theories for Secret Wars, a reference to Marvel Studios’ upcoming crossover movie, Avengers: Secret Wars. But every time Deadpool began to say what he’d heard will happen in the movie, a cellphone rang and interrupted him.

Eventually, Wolverine had enough — and addressed the camera directly, flinging (bleeped) F-bombs at the audience and making a rather crude reference to how this was a movie theater, not “your grandma’s nursing home.” Wolverine only stopped after Deadpool calmed him down.
