Such a great figure. Literally one of the best comic books I've ever read. My biggest reason for my love of Jason Aaron.

If only he looked or acted anything like he should have, maybe that movie wouldn't have sucked as much. Stealing his oozing weapon for Hela didn't help either.

Does anyone noticed it looks a little like Voldemort?

Very cool design for this character. Had not heard of him until the movie but was told by numerous people the comic version was better. 

Got to think Gorr's <ahem> .... suit would put to rest the argument that Moondragon can't be made.. what's good for the goose and so forth.... I mean, hey, those teeny shorts aren't worse than what Moony sports

I got him on impulse since I had no connection ( he arrived yesterday) but very happy with my purchase. My Thor Rogues Gallery is growing! About time too, that part of the comic universe has long been ignored

I see absolutely no rational reason for the MCU version to look this different from the original. They did the same thing with Ultron and it was totally unnecessary. They should easily have been able to do him where we could still see Bale, if that was the issue. 

On this figure, I like that they merged the sword and the hand together as one. If they ever do a classic Dr. Spectrum, they should do the same thing.

 Especially when most of his suit is detachable

There were quite a few variations on his "suit" design. Some artists actually portrayed him as nekid with only the fluid cloake wafting and blowing over his nether regions from the appropriate angles in the comic panels. I think the booty shorts came later on in the character's evolution.

You're right about Moondragon. Same game, same rules, right? But similarly I would wager the safest way would be to do it as an exclusive. This one seemed to work just fine on Amazon. Maybe Amazon could proceed with a theme like Walgreens. Let's keep the cosmic characters coming, ehhh?

The collected issues of the God Butcher story is def worth reading for anyone that hasn't. I would put it in my top 3 Thor stories all time. Only Simonson has written something that grabbed me more.

And yes, I really want Moondragon too.
