Maybe, just maybeeeee, now that Hasbro got the hard part out of the way (how long did it take them to do a proper staff for characters like Moon Knight and Gambit) we'll finally get an updated Wrecker and/or Wrecking Crew. The last ones were actually pretty well done, especially for the time, but they were just too darn big, and Piledriver wore gloves for some reason. With the new "Big Guy" mold and with Hasbro purposefully redoing some of it's older efforts, now would be a good time to revisit these guys. Thor needs some more enemies.

Another COMIC GOTG character is planned for 2023 though he doesn't say if it will be the 616 team or the 3000 team or if it's even part of those. My guess is Adam Warlock.

ARRGH!! Target cancelled my pre-order. They sent an email saying they had to extend the delivery date and I would need to agree to that to keep my order. I did, got the confirmation that they knew. But then they cancelled it anyway. Good thing is, they owned up to the error and offered me a discount; bad thing is, I have to re-order whenever Yondu goes up for sale again.

I'm getting the impression that my own suspicions are being confirmed........that the nutty price hikes were an experiment by TRU to see "what the market would bear", and found their sales dropped.
When I visited TRU the past couple of times over the past year, my observation ( for what it is worth) was that there was always plenty of stock on the pegs, but that it wasn't moving particularly fast.
So TRU rolls back the shelf prices and action figures start moving again.

So, yeah.......a "surprise", but also not really a surprise, me thinks.

I feel as though you might be correct, they have been decreasing the prices as of recent, They were attempting to see how much the collector community was willing to spend, didn't seem to work because everyone I know stopped shopping at TRU unless it was for an exclusive, the pegs have been filled with product at their high price margin for over a year, so it seems like it would be a good idea to at least put the prices back to sort of Canadian MSRP.

Since a lot of people hate on Hawkeye, which I don't get, I thought this guy would be easy to get on clearance. 27 was a bit much for me. He seems to constantly be sold out now. So, guess I misjudged that one. Hopefully I see a price drop and can get some new thugs.

it's an army builder mate. they are usually bought in at least 2 or 3s.

I get it. But if the majority of people on most of the toy sites I check either disliked or were not excited for a show, I didn't think they'd be jumping over each other to build an army from it. Especially since they are pretty specific to the show and not perfect stand-ins for the Matt Fraction series they are from. I have made fun of my bad instincts on many, probably too many, occasions.

I've got 3 of these pre-ordered across 2 different orders (2 together and then another one will classic Ant-Man). I think these look great, but I'm also an army builder guy... some people would likely be shocked at how many Vault Guardsmen, AIM Henchmen, Hand Ninjas, Inner Demons, Hatut Zeraze, Dora Milaje and others that I have displayed. I'm hoping to pick up more of these Tracksuit Mafia at a lower price point later on.....  I've never had issues with getting exclusives from Target as I can't remember even one that I couldn't find -- it's Walmart that I struggle with and at one time, Walgreens...

I went to my Target today hoping to find these guys like some people have been but no dice. I have 2 on preorder but I'd like to avoid the Target preorder limbo if possible. I was just going to get 2 at first for both actual characters, then if I see them on a good sale I'll get more for army building.

I could also definitely see this mold being reused for Infinity War Tony down the line. Would be kind of cool if that was the last unknown figure from the Infinity Saga wave rumored for this year, but I'd prefer a 2-pack with maybe a new Bruce or Wong in his older suit, or even a brand new MK 50 mold I've been wanting forever...

Honestly I'm just glad for more MCU army builders, I got a bunch of Dora Milaje too. We really need some Outriders and Chitauri.

I really wish I can find these affordably in Mx at some point. Target exclusives are hit or miss here.

i did find a case of Yondu at my local Target this week, on the same endcap with the mcu GotG. So if you haven't seen any in your store yet, maybe check that display in the next week or two.

It will be interesting to see which pre-order hits first. I still have the original 3 that I pre-ordered from Target and I went ahead and put in a pre-order at BBTS for 3 as well. I do already have one in hand that I bought off ebay months ago. The situation with Target on this figure is beyond bizarre.

Put in a backup order with Big Bad just in case Target falls through.  Found one in the wild months ago but aside from that, nothing.  Just delays and pushbacks on my original Target orders.   I'm glad that there's an alternative.
