I have a bad feeling after watching this trailer. Also heard the teaser has the most thumbs down / dislikes on youtube. From the teaser the movie looks like they didn't know what direction to go in, I'm also not sure how the flash mob dance scene is necessary. I'll probably wait till it comes to Disney+.

The majority of people downvoting it are either people that hate Brie Larson or sexist or anti-Diversity idiots who are now calling the MCU the MSHEU because marvel is doing more female character. You know, people who have never read a comic book in their entire lives. lol

Yeah it looks pretty good, still not sure about it though, this trailer made it look like a good fun film, but I just wasn't impressed with the first Captain Marvel movie, and I really wasn't with Ms. Marvel, Seeing Monica is the saving grace, I also don't know why they chose to make up a character(?) as the Villain, they have so many to chose from, but on another note, this kinda bugs me they show so much Nick Fury here, so I guess that spoils his outcome in the Secret Invasion, also incase anyone wasn't in the know Park Seo-Joon is allegedly playing Noh-Varr in this, but obviously that's not official, but I'm betting is true, and it makes sense they'd plug in a comic version of the character into the new wave because of his appearance in the movie.

Dar-Benn- https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Dar-Benn_(Earth-616)?so=search

Oh nice!, don't know how I missed that, I guess now the name Dar-Benn is jogged in my brain a bit, I like this more now that you came with the info that it's an existing character 👍

"anomalous wormhole"

I've heard a rumor Feige was planning on some sort of MCU reset, could this be how?

That sounds like a good way to make things even worse for the MCU.

“Let’s undo everything that has been done making every movie that people have loved since phase one utterly pointless! Woohoo!”

Don’t get me wrong, post endgame MCU has been kinda riding the struggle bus with the exception of a few gems thrown into the mix, but I would hate to see them pull a DC cinematic universe and start over because they hit some sour notes. They just need to refocus and figure out what their main objective is with these movies instead of attempting to build up to numerous “Infinity War/ Endgame” type finales. Just aim for one objective instead of trying to hit all of them simultaneously. While others probably disagree, I can’t help but feel that the addition of the Disney+ shows has made everything even more convoluted. In the previous phases you had “Agents of Shield” and the Netflix shows and such, but they didn’t have a huge bearing on the outcomes of the main films. That is completely the opposite now, and in many ways it has drowned the MCU in its own complexity. While the idea sounded good on paper, it hasn’t panned out the way I think Disney/Marvel thought it would. It is possible to have too much of a good thing, and I think the current state of the MCU is a great example of that.

- End of rant-
