well, to be fair the second series would have been out by now if the delays and rescheduling didn't happen. If it was out people may be more hyped for this. Not really Hasbro's fault this time and there really isn't anything from the upcoming show that they could make. Yes they could have gone back and done a few characters from older series but beyond the 2 Goddesses from Moon Knight, there really isn't anything as a BAF size left.

Not to mention this wave has 2 from the current series and 3 older characters, plus what ever you consider Gamora as she is old and new (didn't get her episode yet). They needed something that wasn't known.

Yeah I dunno, we have no idea what kinda options they had from the second What If season, we have yet to see it, but there are a few things from the first, like say Ravager Thanos, they could have even done a Frost Giant Loki from Loki S1, or hey something from Loki S2, who knows, but I just know this doesn't seem like it's going to be a BAF many people want even if that S2 of What If had come out and we saw the episode where this armor comes from, everybody probably got their fix of Hydra Stomper, but I might be wrong, likely Hasbro felt this wave was strong enough on it's own, because MCU collectors are really going to want to swoop up Agatha and Kingpin, and it's been a long time for a new Fury, also this is a superior Yelena.

I just wonder if the MCU people or even just collectors in general are going to want to get that Hydra Stomper V2 BAF, I want people to be stoked even if I'm not.

Yelena looks exactly like how I would want her. Indifferent towards Agatha, but the figure doesn't seem to be bad. I'm wondering why we're seeing these figures in segments, instead of the whole thing..

Wow. What a mixed bag of a wave. Some of it seems to just be pulled out of thin air. Especially the Bill Foster thing. I watched the Disney+ shows sporadically at best so I don't know it he shows up anywhere or if he's basically just a filler. He's easy to make. Looks like it's more or less a paint job on an existing body mold. My guess is that spot was supposed to be for Echo. As @tarot pointed out I suspect there were a lot of issues with delays and reschedule. And then the stomper thing is even more confusing. It doesn't look like the same one from the Deluxe and I can't recall where this version even shows up. Maybe in a future show. The Skinny Steve head sculpt is cool though. At any rate this is another pick and chose wave for me. For the time being the only ones I'm interested in are Fury and Yelena who looks much better than her first figure. And possibly Mantis even though I didn't collect the GOTG wave. I thought I wanted Kingpin but that thing just looks terrible all around. Maybe when the DD show comes around they'll do a better version. Probably not. It'll most likely just be the same figure in a black suit. Hopefully it'll at leat have a better head sculpt.

Sorry, I jsut started back reading and @JayC says the BAF is something that hasn't had screen time. So that solves that. Maybe Bill Foster falls under that category as well.

I'll likely buy this whole wave, but Agatha is the only one that I'm all that stoked about. Gamora is the only one that I have absolutely no interest in, but will likely buy for the BAF part. I'll likely buy multiples of several of these if I find them on clearance as I can see custom potential in Fury, Kingpin and Yelena for sure. I bought like a dozen Talos the first time around in the Captain Marvel movie wave after they got down under $10 so I could see myself doing that again for Skrull army building.

No indication if Bill Foster is comic or MCU is there? From that super blurry pic, it doesn't appear that this can be confirmed. Hopefully not a What If? animated version... that would be my last choice... but since no other comic figures are in this wave my guess is toon Bill...blah..

I'm digging most of the wave. Both Fury and Agatha are basically statues but still better than soft goods, those never look right to me.

Like most, I'm bummed with the BAF choice. I bought the orginal when I was on the fence if I was going to get the animated figures and was underwhelmed.  Thankfully I've decided NOT to do cartoon MCU so this BAF will be sold (I'm sure for pennies). My normal "hey, free figure" mentality loses this round.

it's a What If...? Figure. Hasbro has yet to put a comic figure into a D+ wave.

The cynical answer is probably: being able to reuse parts from said deluxe figure.

If you look at this image, you will see that it the parts are alot smaller then the deluxe. The baf is similar but is an all new sculpt.

Kingpin's head does look too large for the figure but at least it resembles American actor Vincent D'Onofrio; the wave all around doesn't do anything for me. I do hope they will do the classic comic Agatha

Yeah that likeness for Kingpin is pretty darn good, but the fact they used the Happy Hogan, bigger suit buck just doesn't go well here, the head looks way too big for the body, doesn't surprise me they went this route, but makes it an easy pass, I don't have a comic Kingpin because I was foolish and missed that train, thought maybe this could suffice, but I'm not a fan, it's too small to be a comic version, and the head problem really does it for me, in the saying no department.

Something about Nick's eye looks funny, but other than that it looks pretty good. I like that he comes with two guns and I also saw somewhere, that his beanie is removable which is a nice surprise. The articulation is gonna be limited though. Talos looks pretty solid too, with a great likeness and the ability to give him his Skrull look as well.

Wondering though if the fact we're just seeing these two means another gradual reveals kinda wave, cause everything else is from previous shows (except for a couple of What If? figures) and there shouldn't be a reason why we're not seeing the other figures too.

That's a good image of the famous American actor, Samuel Jackson, and an even more spot-on rendition of Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn; I'm likely passing on this entire wave however. Fury's trench coat, as good as it is, is just too restrictive for a fully articulated figure. Talos is great and who knows, I may get him later on discount.

The Ben Mendelsohn likeness is actually really good, that figure is pretty impressive, the ability to make this his skrull look as well is a nice touch, Sam Jackson looks pretty alright as well but nowhere near as good as Ben, both figures are passes for me but they are pretty well done, Now just show us the rest of the wave, Hasbro must know they all leaked, and if they are waiting for What If S2 to reveal the figures that go with that show, do we even know when S2 comes out? I thought it was stil TBA.

IN HAND images have surfaced on Social Media of the Disney+ Marvel Legends ( Secret Invasion) Nick Fury and Gamora (What If?) 6-inch scale figures. These will likely be available from places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth sometime soon! Other figures in the wave as we've reported are set to include Talos, Kingpin (Hawkeye Series), Yelena (Hawkeye Series) and Agatha Harkness (Wanda Vision/Agatha). The Build-a-figure for this wave is the Hydra Stomper.

Can't recall him being mentioned anywhere outside the Ant-Man movie, and even then he wasn't in costume. While there's a good argument that if he were to be included anywhere, he really should be at giant size, I like the notion that they chose a random figure like this. It helps open the door for other such choices. Maybe use some of these figures that were "missed" in previous waves, like Rachel Phoenix or Marinna. Or re-do's for those that got shafted first time out, like Quicksilver, Madame Hydra, Dormammu or Guardian. Easy to make figures like the White Tiger, Firebrand?

This leg just proves that the BAF is at least different from the Deluxe set. and despite the horrid side image has alot more paint in it.

I like the Talos and I might get Fury cause I want a Fury with photo real paint.  Not sure about the others.  Need to see better Yelena pictures.  It sucks that the Fury looks to basically be the old suited body with the trenchcoat though.

That removable beanie makes me very happy. I wanted another Fury to stick his bearded head on the suited body for a Marvels look. He looks to be the Zemo torso maybe? Talos looks fantastic, that interchangeable neck is awesome. This entire wave is so good oh my god. Literally the only duds are the BAF and potentially the Goliath figure. Not sure how that one will turn out, interesting how it’s the most mysterious one and yet no one has shown it off. Curious when the rest will be revealed.
