It would be great if there was an option to purchase the whole wave as a set and not individually...so looking forward to this wave ...not so much the Goliath figure though.

A case of all the figures in the wave can be ordered from our sponsor Entertainment Earth. Being a case, there are 8 figures, however, including two Kinpin figures.

Oh he's supposed to be the Avengers Movie Nick Fury, that's more or less what I was thinking he'd be like, but however since I made this post I stumbled upon the rumour that we might be getting a Nick/Dum Dum/Sharon Carter potential 3 Pack next year, so I'll maybe just wait to see if that pans out, the recent leaking as of this year has been pretty much spot on accurate so I can only hope some of these rumours will turn out true for next year. I'd rather not fudge in a MCU figure if I don't have to.

In a lot of modern comics isn't Fury literally the SLJ version from the movies? My guess would be that 3-pack would be the classic white version so it kind of depends on which era of Fury you want.

it's rumored to be both SR. and a swappable Jr. head.

Honestly I don't have preference at this point, I just want a comic Nick Fury, did I grow up with and recognize the first (white) Fury as my Fury yes, but As time went on Ultimate Fury (SLJ style) is really iconic in his own right, I'd love to own comic versions of both, I think if we might get that rumoured SHIELD 3 pack in the future I';; probably wait it out, as always comic is what I'm looking for, but who knows maybe the new Infinity Saga Fury will look so darn nice I'd just get it for an Ultimate Fury, and buy the 3 pack anyways and make Fury Jr.

Interesting that Kingpin comes without a BAF piece.

When is HASBRO going to learn how to pack a full case?!  Put the Army builders as the double pack and they would most likely sell more full cases!  Why would anyone want to shell out more money for a figure that doesn't have a BAF part and you don't need two of them?  I used to buy full cases when the figures were $20-22 a piece, I've passed on every case since the price hike.  I don't need to spend the extra money for figures I don't want/need.  It's like they are still actively trying to get more collectors to drop off.

I like this wave, but without seeing the Hydra Stomper in action, I'll stay with the version I got a year ago, and pick and choose the figures I want.  No full wave for me here.

Perhaps a good option is to let nature take its course and pick this one up at clearance.

Hasbro has double packed the figure they seem to assume will be most popular. They usually do. They're not always right, but that seems pretty clearly what they're doing. It makes sense for retail. It makes less sense for online sales. You're right that it would make the most sense to double pack army builders, and you're right that they're really bad about that, but in this particular wave, there is no army builder.

Can't remember the last time there was a wave I was less interested in, but that's not a bad thing, I guess, in terms of not spending money. Most have no "spark" to them, almost like the direction was, "Well, we need to put out some figures, and these haven't been done yet, so just give us something to put on the pegs. Doesn't matter if people actually want to buy them."

If anyone even seems like it would be an army builder I guess it would be Talos but his look is too specific to be an army builder. Not sure how many people want an army full of Skrulls with jeans and a brown sports jacket but I guess there's at least one. Otherwise I do tend to agree with him. Hasbro habitually has a problem of short packing army builders like Multiple Man and Nick Fury and Quack though they didn't even give here a masked head sculpt anyway. They did do a good job with the Hand Ninja in the Stilt Man wave. I think they came 3 to a case and the BAF parts were the legs so you could make Stilt Man taller. But they do have a history of making bad moves when it comes to characters that most people would want multiples of. Take the Marvel Knights wave for instance. The BAF is a Mindless One. Who wants a single Mindless One for their collection. And I'm not sure what other peoples spending habits are but I'm not about to buy more than one or maybe two entire sets of characters I only need one of to get multiple BAF's.

I received the "pre-order processing soon" from BBTS for this wave yesterday so I'm excited to have these in hand soon!

Although not an army builder, I did order two of the Talos figures, although I won't likely use either of them as Talos. For me it's two civilian bucks with two extra Skrull heads/hands to use for kitbashing. I probably have like 20 of the first Talos figure from the Captain Marvel movie wave that I use as generic skrulls. I bought them in spurts as I found them on clearance for under $10 each. I think that they can still be found pretty cheaply on Amazon all these years later.

This certainly isn't my favorite wave because I'm just not that into MCU figures, but several of these have fantastic kitbashing / custom potential for comic characters that haven't been made yet. That's how I intend to use them. Agatha is likely the only one I'll keep as is. The Hydra Stomper will likely just be added to my hall of armors.

Kingpin should've been bigger... I don't know if that's a bigger issue than his expression though, my guy looks like he doesn't care about life anymore.

I think it looks pretty good honestly. That's pretty accurate to D'Onofrio's resting Kingpin face. Even when he's smiling he looks unhappy lol.
