Well, it took a year but it's finally here. I guess this will please a lot of people, because this version was pretty demanded, but for me it's disappointing more than anything. There's nothing new here (except maybe part of the arms) and that sucks. Since they're using the same body, you would think that at least it would have accurate paint job, especially a year after the movie came out, but it doesn't look like it. You would also think that it could have new accessories, but guess what: the Darkhold is enough, right? Anyway..

Give  that the suit was 90% the same as the wanda vision version bur with sleeves, why would they use a new sculpt for it?

No there's nothing wrong with the reuse of the body, besides it theoretically gives them the chance to focus more on other things like the paint job, which is very lazy and many details are missing. Which is what bothers me here. That and the lack of accessories, not the body mold.

Yeah, the upper torso is definitely missing a lot of the black paint and cracking details but Hasbro has said in the past that those kinds of intricate paint apps are deluxe, hence the Spider-Man 3-pack being $90, so I'm ok with this if it keeps her $25. It's easy enough to add some black speckling by hand. She has new arms and a new head, plus the Darkhold, I think that's enough.

Even if it's just the deluxe figures that get that treatment, they could've at least added the different colours on the suit, wchich doesn't require extra sculpting. Instead of just one shade of red and for accessories, it could come with an extra head with lit up eyes. Doesn't really look like they made a new one anyway, it just has different hair. I don't know I don't want to s@#t on the figure, but since it's 90% reuse, I'd like to see some different things.

Well nice to see they got this version of Wanda out, kinda weird they didn't give us this last year when the movie was fresh, I mean she was really important in this film (cough cough unlike a green bull man), not much going on here in terms of new, but she barely looked any different in this movie then how she looked in WandaVision so I'd have expected as much, this is an easy pass for me though, I don't collect movie figs anymore, and even if I did I already have the previous figure.

I actually think that the WandaVision Wanda looked better, she had way more paint deco then this does, also the face looks really washed out here, looks like this is doing less in terms of details then the older fig, but she has sleeves and really orange hair! ha

I'm probably going to give her some black speckles and drybrushing when I get her. But I'm really more happy about the existence of this figure than anything, it shows they're still willing to come back around and fill holes in recent movies. Here's hoping for Sinister Strange, the Illuminati, Zeus, civilian Shuri, small Cassie, High Evolutionary, Gamora, etc. I'd also like a 2-pack of Thor with his sleeveless and unhelmeted look and Gorr with all the black stains and the creepy eyes and smile.

I don't have the old Wanda in front of me, have they fixed her tiara being to low? Or was it too high? I recall their being an issue with its placement regardless

Also, can we assume the packaging with be branded with the Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness logo? Though since the first wave wasn't plastic-free this one will stand out as different.

It seems at the height of Wanda's wackness she looked withered and wicked. Wonder if the zombie Wanda's coat would have been a nice re-use?

Regardless, also glad to see Hasbro dipping into the MCU for missing characters / looks

Have we had a Darkhold as an accessory already? Honestly the first MoM wave was a little blah so I can't recall if there was one there. Or with that FF Retro Doom? Walmart Dr. Strange? Jeez so much product has come out!

I've been using the NECA Necronomicon as a stand in

Errrr........is this supposed to be better than the last one, cuz she kinda looks like Maggie Gyllenhaal, which to each there own, but is a massive downgrade in my opinion. I do like the hair better, and I guess they kinda fixed her headgear, but there just isn't enough there or something I can't do on my own that would convince me to rebuy this character for a 4th time. I'm not a never-movie collector but this is just monotonous. Hell, I'd even go for a Wanda in her Mom Tracksuit over this one, or maybe even a two pack of Vision and Wanda in their comic inspired Halloween costumes. Something, anything new.

I mean, it's what it's supposed to be, a figure of Wanda's Multiverse of Madness look, which hasn't had a figure before so it's technically new. To your point, the suits are mostly the same, the MOM one adds sleeves and some wear to the costume (which isn't really present here).

But I do want all of her alternate looks from the show too, the black and white, 70s dress, curly haired 80s, tracksuit, Halloween. Also give us the version that murdered the Illuminati. The multiverse of Wanda.

If we're  talkin wants from MOM, I really really want a deluxe Zombie Strange with his cape of lost souls. It would be hard to pull off, but would look epic on any shelf.

That would be amazing. I'd assume they could do the cape semi-articulated, maybe have a few of the skeletal arms as separate pieces. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a similar situation to the NWH wave 2 for MOM, a wave and a deluxe. Obviously deluxe Zombie Strange, then the wave could have Sinister Strange, Mr Fantastic, Black Bolt, Captain Carter, Captain Marvel, Professor X and dreamwalking Wanda, then a hoverchair BAF.

The tiara sits right on her face, but I think her hairline is too high. In the movie there's a slightly smaller amount of her forehead showing between the tiara and her hair. In Wandavision, her tiara sat a bit higher, so even though it appears to be the same placement on this figure, it's more accurate by default. And yeah, it should be MOM packaging.

They couldn't use Zombie Wanda's coat because this suit only has the skirt, so they'd have needed to make a new skirt either way. I'm probably going to just slice it up with an xacto knife, it was more tattered in MOM.

Well part of the mystery solved. It looks nice and I know most of the MCU fans will show support but I'm good with the ones I have. That book as a prop is tempting but the fact that it basically turned out to be a nonfactor makes it unnecessary. I'm sure it will show up somewhere later.
