This guy looks so good. I'm so glad the MCU version is so comic accurate so I have an excuse to pick him up lol. Just gotta remove those shoulder pads.

I bet that was on purpose. I think all an MCU version would need is a slight tweak on the head sculpt and a bit more obsidian looking paint job maybe like the Fallen Silver Surfer and you'd have Destroyer from the movie. Once you pry off those shoulder pads I bet there are already spikes underneath it. You'll have to let us knwo. I wont be taking mine off. I plan to keep it as a comic version. I don't think an MCU Destroyer is too far down the line.

Honestly, I don't even care about the set. All I want is the Masterson Thor head. Pop it on my 80th Thor body, and I'm good. The fact that people seem so excited about the Simonson head hopefully works to my advantage, so maybe I can acquire the Masterson head for $10 on eBay, or something. If anybody here is buying that set, maybe we can work something out.

These look so amazing. I never get tired of that Thor mold. He just looks so ripped and just like Thor should be portrayed. This version of Thor is my favorite. Maybe next a redo of the Thor from the Blob wave? I'm not sure what they refer to that particular version of him but it was one of the best of the time. King Thor maybe?

That was Thor from Dan Jurgen's run especially the Reigning. It would be an interesting look to see

Thank you. I knew someone here would know. I loved that look and the figure was almost as good as todays ML except for the really really really strange articulation decisions Hasbro was attempting at the time. Someone told me that this Thor, She-Hulk and Blob were all sculpted during the Toybiz days and were meant to be part of the line but were bought out by Hasbro and then Hasbro incorporated their articulation. That She-Hulk scupt was also amazing. I'd love to see them redo that figure with modern means. I mean seriously just reuse the sculpt with better articulation. That head sculpt is still one of the best She-Hulk I've ever seen.
