Hi, I just watched a video on Youtube where they used the pictures available and it really looks like a version fo the Sunfire body with some new details. The pictures are very low res but maybe that is on purpose.

Yes, but the best promo pic, which has him standing on one leg and aiming his bow off the skycycle, shows a pretty clear pic of his thigh. If the promo image is to be believed as the final production version, that is not the Sunfire thigh (thanks heavens!) That would make Hawkeye both too skinny and too short and a real wasted opportunity to give us a definitive classic character. My hope is that these are perhaps new legs that operate better for sitting characters... maybe there will be more riders coming in our future. We will see.

I don't think that's accurate, Just look at he shins on the left leg and look at the difference of striations on the inner thigh on the right leg, They don't match up.  Also pinless vs pins, I've been in the game a long time and very rarely does Hasbro retool for this type of situation.

I don't think pinless vs pins matters when it comes to the Sunfire mold. Wouldn't a pinless Sunfire basically be the RYV Spiderman when it comes to the arms and legs?

I was thinking this too. Arent the legs identical? The top is different for sure. Possibly just an overlay but it looks like some new sculpting.

Hasbro's Dan Yun today threw out this image showing off all the Marvel Legends Avengers 60th Anniversary figures they first showed off in their last live-stream. This coming Tuesday (5/9) we will see the Hawkeye With Skycycle set go up for pre-order at places our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth which we get another look at here. The Thor/Destroyer 2-pack, Skrull 2-pack, Doon/Captain Marvel 2-Pack, Hulk/Banner 2-Pack, 12" Super Adaptoid and Iron Man Mark I figures are already available at the sponsors above as well. The Sersi/Black Knight 2-pack is an Amazon exclusive and also already available for pre-order.

That leaves the new Walmart exclusive Bucky Captain America and Target exclusive Black Widow figures which will be going up for pre-order later this summer. Dan Yun has also previously suggested there will be another Amazon exclusive Avengers items that has yet to be revealed coming later this year as well, but no further details on that one were mentioned today.

I feel like i'm a little later to the comic game than most of you but I fail to see how the Skrull pack relates to the 60th anniversary. That story is a much newer one. Even with my limited knowledge I'm aware of that.

Maybe I'm just out of the loop but were the heros supposed to have been replaced by Skrulls that far back into the history? Maybe that's where the connection is.

It gives me hope. I will say. In my wildest dream it is a new Captain America sized model and we will soon be getting a more current Captain America on a motorcycle perhaps. The Toybiz inspired Captain is my favorite but updates of the more known faces are always welcome.

I could see the torso maybe being Sunfire, but the legs are pinless so they're either the RYV or Vulcan legs or brand new.

Hard to make out what torso that is but Dwight did mention in the livestream that Hawkeye’s got all-new arms and legs.

Well there we go! Someone actually had the time to watch the livestream, lol! Here we are speculating on molds and possible new parts, and super-chillin swoops in and has the answer for us, lol! Thanks dude! And that's an answer I love to hear too, new legs and arms. Hasbro has got to get away from the Sunfire buck for normal to taller characters.  It's just fine for Speedball, Human Torch, Spidey, Quicksilver, and, well Sunfire (and I can see them using it again for the upcoming Karnak) but that's where it needs to stop. After twenty years of hearing many of us critique characters scale and mass, they should have no problem getting these important details right... when they want to. Nuff Said.

Hasbro's Dan Yun has once again taken to Twitter to let folks know that next week will see more than just the Avengers 60th Anniversary Hawkeye And Skycycle isn't the only new Marvel Legends Item we will be seeing next week.

If it's a second pre-order, then it would seem most likely to be another store exclusive item, possibly the second Amazon exclusive Avengers item that has yet to be revealed that Dan previously mentioned was coming. It's likely not going to be the Walmart exclusive Bucky Cap v2 or Target exclusive Black Widow since those aren't expected to go up until later this summer.

When more details become available on this, we will be sure to update you here.

Man, I've gotta say, 2023 has been a great year for Legends in my book. All these Avengers related figures, the Blob and Ronan finally re-released, long awaited villains and deep cut villains from Spidey, X-men and Avengers, Galactus' Heralds, and that killer Khonshu... it's been like Christmas! If this Amazon Avengers exclusive announcement isn't Luke Cage, then I sure hope it is another deep, C-list Avenger. We still have plenty to choose from: Stingray, Jack O Hearts, Moondragon, Mantis, Starfox, Swordsman, Captain Ultra, Shroud, classic white and purple costumed She-hulk, first Appearance Wonder Man or even D-Man. What a treat one of these would be! Looking forward to the reveal this week.

The anniversary is not just for classic stuff from way back when. It's to celebrate the big iconic moments of the Avengers in their whole comic history.

Would be nice to get a new classic Beta Ray Bill and Thunderstrike!

How about Robert Townsend’s Meteor Man!? 😅

or

What about unsung 90’s Marvel hero The Illuminator? I remember getting an issue of the illuminator from my local Christian bookstore in the 90s! He was really cool! I was trying to think which existing character would make for a good custom base to make an Illuminator?

Excelsior, true believers!

✌️

Makes sense. It was one of the better stories I read. Probably the last really good one. Dark Reign was also not bad. I'd love to see some Dark Avengers or Dark X-Men stuff from that.

I agree, but another reason to doubt it being the Vulcan mold is that there are no butterfly wings in the shoulders. I'm sure our questions will be answered next week when we get more promo pics before the pre-order.

There are shoulder butterflies. They are visible from the pics of the back side of the figure. Thats wat led me to think the new parts of the figure are just soft plastic overlays on the Sunfire model. The legs are very convincing. Even if it is the RYV model it is still innacurate as @Itsybitsyspiderpoints out. Disappointing would be an understatement.
