Really hope this is a turning point and I don't mean a successful movie from Sony. I mean Sony finally realizing it isn't working and they should just work with Disney/Marvel and produce something people might actually want to watch

I refuse to watch a new trailer, even if for some reason the new trailer makes this movie look like the next Citizen Kane, I won't do it anymore, I saw the last one, I saw Madame Web, I saw yer Venom 3 trailer...Sony you suck, not falling for it anymore.

Why do they keep making their villains into anti heros in all their movies?

WB, under previous leadership anyway, has done exactly the same thing. Studios seem to be terrified of comic book movies about villains who actually are villains or stay villains the whole time.

Also they really butchered the **** out of Johnny Cash's "When the man comes around" for that trailer. Yikes.

Only watched Madame Web and all the Venom's through illegal means, and this one too I refuse to give Sony a cent for this movies, they need to stop and either sell the rights back to Disney or partner with them.

Here here!! Even "hatewatching" or just seeing how bad it is, gives Sony money or views. Neither helps us get them to stop with their misinformed ideas of how to start a movie universe. All it does is encourage more stupidity like this. Sucks, cause I feel how a lot of people felt about the Venom movies. This is one of my favorite actors playing one of my favorite comic characters, but it Will be awful. We must all resist the urge to go see these pieces of trash.

It seems bloody and violent just 'cause.  Was there any need for all that?  It's blood and gore just for blood and gore's sake, and I can't stand that.

An easy pass.

I'd rather a Spider-Man movie with Kraven hunting him than this environmentalist origin story.  Sure, it'd be the same as every other Spider-Man movie, but there's a reason the character has been around for 60 years.

It's really funny to me that I would have been perfectly fine with the Sonyverse casting choices if only they had been properly done movies with Spider-Man. Tom Hardy as Venom? Works for me. Jared Leto as Morbius? Fine by me. Aaron Taylor Johnson as Kraven, looks great. Hell, I'd have even been cool with a different take on Madame Web if the movie wasn't absolute dogshit. It just absolutely blows my mind that Sony could have been sitting on an absolute goldmine, if they had kept Andrew as Spidey or even someone else and then just made all these villain movies as either sequels or spin-offs. What a wasted opportunity.

I think everyone is suddenly getting a case of Deadpool fever. The disconnected film studio execs think they broke the code. Violence, blood and profanity. While I don't so much mind that stuff if it pertains to the story adding it gratuitously to try to attract a particular crowd is almost certainly going push away another crowd. Effectively shooting themselves in the foot. The secret to a good movie is actually a lot easier than that. Coming from the consumer side anyway. I want a good story, decent casting and acting, great action and fight scenes and truth to the character. Blood and gore should just be consequential to any of those aspects. If its belongs there, good. I not then don't force it.

I've never seen Madame Web, and while I'm not "boycotting" it I have no plans to waste time watching it because it holds no interest. Yes sometimes you CAN judge a book by its cover.
