these are kinda fun, I like what they are doing here, not bad for cheap figures that are for kids, but also for adult collectors, if they keep this line going it could have some great potential to be a new run for the 3.75 collectors, these X-Men figures are the best of the bunch so far, I'm interested to see more of this Epic Heroes line going forward.

So is the X-Men '92 line meant to be exclusively 3.75 inch? If it is it's cool with me because I'm sure not a fan of the 3.75 but I'm even less a fan of the Animated 6 inch line. Animated figures are the Crytonite to Hasbro's dominance of the 6 inch market. They are just terrible and they should stop before it gets even more severe. Personally it would hurt my feelings none too much if they decided to keep it strickly to a 3.75 scale. I can pass it altogether if I want but something would still be available to the people who want figures based on the animated show. ML deviating into that entire What If? mess has already veered ML into the wrong lane and a full animated figure commitment would just send it into the ditch.

They’ve been doing animated lines for a while now. We got ITSV in 2020, 90’s X-Men last year and ATSV and 90’s Spider-Man this year. There was a 6 inch wave of X-Men 97 leaked to be coming this year too. Personally I don’t mind it if it opens the doors for us to get Spectacular Spider-Man figures someday.

Yeah I did get some of the stuff but that VHS set Storm was the one that shut me off to them for good. There is no word in the English language for how bad that one was though I do have many in the Spanish language that would do the trick. Then that red and blue Venom thing? Anyway as I said. Just quit now. I did/do collect animated style stuff like TMNT from NECA but that's a whole different animal from a company that's been doing it right for a long time. It's just not Hasbro's thing. They barely put paint on anything much less use enough to pull off a decent cell shaded look. Then the Spiderverse thing is a whole other animal. That's more of a stylistic structure thing. To me they look even more extreme than the actual characters in the movie. It looks like Hasbro went way overboard with those. I'm glad there was not a BAF that I needed so I avoided it altogether. I know it's almost unavoidable from a company standpoint that they shouldnt try to get into the animated side of things but everything has just been bad and I guess they'll get better eventually but the more time and material they expend on trying to get it right takes that much time and effort from the stuff they already do right. I know it seems like a small thing but every time we get some animated Spider-Man or Cyclops that looks that bad I just have to look at it like Dude we still haven't got a descent Classic She-Hulk yet or characters like Destiny, Vermin, Swarm or Cameron Hodge and you're wasting time on this stuff?

12'' Sentinel, hey I'd buy that, it's clearly lacking in articulation since it's a Titan Hero packaged as a Epic Hero, but being 12 inches is pretty sweet, If I come across that I'd pick it up, big huge sentinels don't really need much articulation could look cool just being on a shelf.

These are some interesting effects to say the least. I've never seen Wolvie or Rogue's powers displayed like that. Funny how the 4" line gets all these strange almost unnecessary accessories versus the typical ML's none. Or the tirelessly reused. I wonder it they can be used with ML. They won't probably fit over the hands but maybe if you take them off?

Shown are updated images for Hasbro's X-Men 97 Epic Heores X-Men Team X-Jet With 4" Storm Figure. This set costs $34.99 and is available on Amazon now.

Also Amazon def mixed up the Sentinel and Wolverine listings earlier today. If you got the Sentinel when it was listed with a $11.99 price then you will prob want to cancel cause that was actually for the Titan Hero Wolverine.

The Sentinel is available on Amazon for $22.99.
