2023 Summer Walmart Collector-Con Date Announced For July 18th - Bucky Cap And Joe Fixit Marvel Legends

I'll likely pickup Joe Fixit and pass on the new Bucky Cap.

Even with the rumors of another Joe Fixit coming next year in a 2-pack with Patch, I still want this one regardless. I have 2 of the BAF and use one for Shadow King.

I just finally got Star-Lord this week from their last collector-con.

I'm wondering when they'll re-do WW II Bucky

I wonder the same!  Seems like a no brainer. There are about 30 characters, or so that I am just amazed we haven't seen yet, or haven't seen a definitive classic version of yet (Bucky, Adam Warlock, Classic X-Men, Giant Man, Marvel Monsters, a bunch of the Inhumans, Mole Man, Iron Fist, Blade, Nebula, Brood, Destiny, Warriors Three, Dum Dum Dugan, Wasp, Ghost Rider's villains).

I'll need to grab both (Bucky Cap is my priority) and that whole  Star Lord runaround has me worried. Until SL,  the only other issue I had with Walmarts preorders was trying g to get 2 of the symbiots Caps (back when a collector could afford multiples). They sent one and said the other couldn't be processed. I did happen upon a few in stores (back when exclusives would show up in stores haha).

But every other preorder has been smooth sailing. Here's hoping that even if Walmart hadn't got their $#!+ together that my orders will go through haha

Not super hyped for more Walmart exclusives, so I'm hoping the 3rd one isn't going to be something I want, I already don't have any interest in Fix-it, but I do want that Bucky Cap, but guess we will see how easy it is to come across here in Canada, generally it's a real up in the air thing with Walmart, although they have been getting a bit better as of late, but that means nothing since they can turn on a dime into garbagio.

Still almost forgot SDCC is coming soon, so excited about those reveals. Ghost Rider & Iron Man Retro Carded waves please!.

Is it just me or is anyone else amazed at how little product such an iconic character like GR has gotten to this point? I know the whole Hellcharger thing was a bust and understand why. That was a lot of money they wanted for that bit of plastic. But a lot of the stuff they were trying to entice us with was super cool. Hopefully they'll revisit those charactes someday. Maybe in an actual GR wave or waves. There is so much untapped potential with that entire area of the MU. I mean how crazy is it that they have never even done a 90's era Ketch GR with his cool bike? It's like the Hellcharger failed and they they just abandoned GR as a whole as a failure.

So very true... but then we could say the same about a number of iconic characters. Daredevil, even though there was a recent two pack, but he's almost always folded into a Spidey wave, never his own.

Add on to that, the Inhumans....

...But if you really wanna talk untapped potential....The Fantastic Four. So much wasted opportunity there! Variant costumes! Foes up the yin yang, like the Frightful Four, Annihilus, Blastarr, the Mole Man! Allies like Thundra, Agatha Harkness, Arkon, the Sub-Mariner! Iconic vehicles, sets, etc. if they ever wanted to go that way. Now THAT'S crazy, leaving money like that on the table.

I like how they tried to capture his personality in that 2nd head sculpt but something about it just isn't right. During that time he was Sadistic without being Sinister. You could tell he enjoyed what he did to the bad guys but wasn't outright evil. Something about these head sculpts makes him look just angry on one of the and insane on the other. They just didn't hit that middle ground and get that signature Fixit look. Of course it's not enough to make me not get this thing but between the reused model which is a little thin and the face sculpts it was just a little more underwhelming than I thought it would be.

I feel exactly the same AndyL. He is a bit too small/thin. And while the face is good, it's doesn't  capture the character perfectly. But, yes I'll probably be getting him since I've been waiting for Joe for so long. Depends on how ridiculous the price is. But Hulk figs never go on clearance, they just go up.

The third Walmart 2023 Summer Collector-Con Marvel Legends exclusive has been revealed via CBR. It's a Six-Armed Spider-Man Vs Morbius 2-Pack will go up for pre-order on July 18th for $49.99. Also looke for the previously announced Bucky Cap v2 and Joe Fixit figures to go up on that day as well.
