Forward warning everyone. We would ask that you not post any link that would bring us to a different site. You can talk about what other sites are posting but if there is any news, we will post about it on the main page.

We would also ask that you keep angry rants to a minimum, especially for the first few days. We all know that Hasbro starts out poorly with reveals and has a better showing as the weekend goes on.

we will get hints alright and there may be one or two but Friday and something on Saturday will be main reveals.

SDCC reveals are always so much fun! However I'm personally expecting this year to be fairly anti-climactic because I think we mostly already know everything that is coming over the next 6 months and I think they'll save 2024 reveals for later. Based on what has been leaked, I'm expecting the following to be shown at SDCC this year:

1) Disney+ Wave 5: We've seen images of all of these now, including Goliath. I'm expecting that they'll just show them all, although it's possible they'll hold back Goliath and the Stomper BAF.  EDIT: Never mind, they showed both Goliath and the Stomper on preview night even!!

2) X-Men '97 Wave: With the kids line hitting now, I'm expecting that these will hit very soon also. This is also assuming that they are still doing a separate Legends style wave and the kids' line wasn't what Rektangular actually leaked last fall, thinking it was going to be Legends based.

3) Best of MCU Wave: Ironic that these might drop while the actors are on strike, but hopefully the strikes end soon!

4) Marvel Knights Wave (Re-issues): We've already seen Luke. Other than the HasLab, I expect these to be the only new comic based figures shown at SDCC. In fairness the comic figures were very front loaded this year.

5) Spider-Man No Way Home Wave: This is the most likely entry of this group to be held back for a little while as they'll still need stuff to share this fall. I'm expecting they'll save early 2024 reveals for NYCC.

Grand Finale: Giant-Man HasLab with early bird and first tier shown. With the Joe Classified HasLab just ending, SDCC is just too perfect for this reveal - especially if they have a prototype to display after the presentation. I'm going to guess that the early bird is an alternate head and that the first tier will be first appearance Janet. I'm expecting Hank to be about the same size as the Sentinel but not as big as Galactus. I'm guessing a later tier will be a Yellowjacket figure, although no idea if that would be Hank or Rita. I also won't be at all surprised if either Jarvis or Rick Jones is the final tier. I'm going to guess a $399 price point because I think they really want this one to work this year after whiffing on Engine of Vengeance last year, and that's probably both as low and and as high they thought would work for both sides. All total guesses on my part, of course.

I don't really expect to see anything not referenced above, but hopefully there are some positive surprises to keep it fun!

Surprisingly they officially revealed the dusney plus wave. I thought that would be during the marvel livestream.

This was either planned or they said F#*$ it they know about it already. It does give me hope for more this weekend.

Oh hell yeah, hopefully that means we can order this wave soon. I've been waiting for these for so long. Definitely excited about Friday, they have to have some good stuff if they're already considering the D+ wave something we know about. I'm betting on seeing the Knights wave, X-Men 97 wave, Haslab and a few other things, maybe some more VHS 2-packs. I wouldn't be surprised if they save the NWH wave and Infinity Saga wave until Pulsecon given I think they were both slated for December.

Since we know Powerman is coming out this year, I hope they show us an updated classic Iron Fist too! And how about classic versions of the original X-Men team, Adam Warlock, Wasp, and Marvel Monsters?!

Hasbro slipped out this little teaser during preview night for an upcoming item. It appears to be some kind of gold shield accessory. When more details become available we will be sure to update you.

Check back tomorrow Thursday July 20th at 11am ET for more Hasbro reveals from a special media breakfast event they will be holding during Comic-Con.

Well, looks like they're really pushing Squadron Supreme. Power Princess, incoming.

I love it. Personally I think the SS is an untapped asset that I think Marvel really doesn't like to push because the thought of a copy of the premier team from their biggest competitor possibly pulling better sales numbers than some of their original characters scares the bejeezers out of them. Of course that's Marvel's perspective. I would look at it from the other direction. Basically saying "Look DC we can do you better than you".

I'm hoping myself it's a 2-pack cause I want Comic Phil Coulson for my collection.

Coulson would be pretty cool but I'm not all too excited about the body mold they would probably use for him. But also dare we invoke the name of He Who Shall Not Be Mentioned, Mephisto? In the end Coulson is probably the logical choice but the Meph-Man would be nice.

Knowing Hasbro they will put Coulson the suited body he helped create

Today Hasbro held their SDCC 2023 Media Event and we have some really nice photos showcasing what was there!

Wow!!! Detroit Steel, finally! Long overdue! A female Hydra soldier? I'm in! She also seems to be in the classic colors, which is not what they did with Bob (more like Von Strucker). Odd decisions.

In regards to Power Princess, I do hope that it's another Squadron Supreme 2-pack. I have mixed feelings on the Coulson thing because he's an MCU original character and the comic version is based off the MCU version (even though the personalities are very different!). I'd take a comic version, for sure - but he's one character where the MCU version actually seems more appropriate - but on a new suited body mold would be welcome!

As far as Mephisto, I think that our only hope there any time soon is a MCU version. I don't think that we'll be seeing comic versions of him or any other character from last year's failed HasLab anytime soon, if ever. The team has basically stated as much.

Regardless, I'm feeling pure joy and excitement over these 2 newest reveals! What a welcome surprise!
