I'm shocked there was no HasLab reveal. Timing seemed perfect for it with the Joe Classified one just ending.

Animated Smythe and the Crystar figure are the big surprises here for me! Very happy with those.

The Marvel Knights wave looks great, Daredevil is probably the only one that I will skip unless he comes with a BAF piece. I'm sure that it will either be him or Iron Man that doesn't.

Power Princess to complete the Squadron Supreme is fantastic!

We were probably due for a new Vision. I think the last ones were the Retro version, Marvel Now and the 2 white versions (MCU and Retro). I know a lot of people bought the Select not too long ago because they thought it was better than the Hasbro versions (I wasn't one of them).

I'll certainly buy New Warriors Justice. I might buy the 3 Infinity Saga figures they showed today but will hope to find them at below full price well after release.

They didn't show us how we're getting that sweet female Hydra soldier!! I definitely want at least one of those and I'm hoping for more.

They did indeed end up holding back the No Way Home wave and most of the Infinity Saga stuff as a few people had suggested.

The Star Wars HasLab is being revealed today. I wouldn't expect the Marvel Haslab to be revealed until that campaign has ended.

Got it. That makes perfect sense. That will probably end up being around that HasCon timeframe then for the reveal then, probably for a late 2024 shipment date. I hadn't been following the Star Wars HasLab news.

Just OK with most of this but dangit. Want to know the best way to make sure a wave gets cherry picked? Make the BAF an stupid army builder. When will these guys learn? For most us collectors we either get multiples of army builders or no army builders. I don't want one Mindless One if i can't have many and i sure as heck am not buying multiple complete sets of this wave. This is ridiculous. There are about 50 other characters that could have been the BAF. Looks like I'm getting DD, Lady B, Blade and perhaps Clea. I have about 2 dozen Hand Ninjas but I might grab a few Fist to mix in but I don't necessarily need them. I can do without IM because that's not like a real thing. All the Infinity Saga stuff is just mining for stuff that should have been done a long time ago and could still fetch a buck. But Banner? Seriously? I bet 100 out of 100 people would have preferred a Hammer. I like Smythe and Peter is much improved. Might look into it but won't hurt me if I miss out. I really didn't expect much and we sure didn't get much. I sure didn't expect nor was upset by not getting any Haslav news yet. Keeping that Giant Man under wraps just a little longer. We know what it will be. I'm just excited to see what the tears are going to be.

Okay now that that's done my reactions

• X-men '97 - No interest. 
• Deadpool 2-pack is already of PO from a third company
• Detroit steel- will get because it's a new character and he looks frigging awesome
• Disney + Wave 5 - Only Agatha, Goliath and Talos for me. Not interested in the rest.
• Spider-man TAS - Called it. I knew that Alister would be one of the figures in the line and given that this is extremely close to his comic form, it a must get for me. Peter can go in storage though.
• Marvel Knights wave
  • Iron man - Meh. If he doesn't come with a piece then I'll skip
  • The Fist DD - Love it. This will look fantastic with Elektra
  • Lady Bullseye - Finally!!! One of the last character from the old fan poll that finally make her way to the line
  • The Fist - I like it and will get it but meh.
  • Luke Cage - Same as before. Finally an update
  • Clea - I'm actually surprised they went with his version but now Strange's wife is finally here.
  • Blade - I can't make out to much of the details yet but it's already a massive improvement. Just kind wished he came with Boy-Thing
  • Mindless Ones - knew it would be a BAF at some point. Glad to have them
• Infinity Saga stuff - couldn't care less. Sorry but i'm trying to focus on Comic and new characters
• Crystar - This made the panel. I don't care. This was the best reveal of the SDCC for me. The fact that we are getting this character..............I don't know how to describe it.
• Power Princess - knew she was coming but glad to see her in figure form
• Justice - Second best and most important reveal of the panel for me. Vance has been on my want list since I started collecting ML. He was only outrankde by Firestar, which we got, and Jim Hammond. 
• Vision - Will get. 
• As for the cube tease that is from the NHW as well as Doc Ock obviously.

We would like to inform people that this MIGHT not be the last reveal of the con. For several year, they have gone on Marvel's Livestream and revealed some more figure. No word if they are doing it again this year but I don't see why they wouldn't this year.

No idea which version of Daredevil this is but could be cool.

The MCU stuff is cool but they seem to be in rehash mode as opposed to characters that haven't been made yet. Though MKII is promising.

The characters I'm most interested in (Iron Man, Justice, Vision) I can't quite make out details. Really hoping the 6th time is the charm for classic Vision

Yes, this time it looks like the collar will have its classic cord. Hooray! The cape has the proper length. He's on a taller buck, great progress. But AGAIN they painted on the belt, as opposed to making in an actual item, like Yondu's, Night Thrasher's, Star Lord's, Puma's.  Come on.

The picture is blurry so I cant really tell, but it doesn't look like he has the earcups. They painted on the boots again which gives that horrible break in the scheme.

Crystar is a marvel character so yes he will be in the Marvel Legends line.

Oh that is a bummer. With so many definitive versions of classics coming out this year it's a bit of a disappointment that the Vision will once again be so close yet so far. Especially when they have figured things like this out with Hyperion and Yondu

I don't know how to feel about the Midnight Suns Iron Man. One one hand, one more Iron Man for the Iron Verse section of my shelves. On the other hand, that game's portrayal of Tony Stark sucks a whole lotta butt. I guess I'll comb through eBay to get it for no more than 15 bucks. Wait, I just noticed Midnight Suns Iron Man seems to reuse most of the Gamerverse Iron Man sculpt. No more than 10 bucks.

And aside from Detroit Steel and Iron Man MK 2, I guess MCU Black Widow. I wish we had gotten a curly headsculpt, but I might still fudge her into my Iron Man 2 section.

OK yes I know Crystar is a Marvel Character. Owned and created by Marvel. 

My point is his character and series had zero connection to the greater Marvel U, hence an odd choice to include in a line of Marvel Legends.

and that what makes it so great. The more obscure the character the better. 

Also, He has recently reappear in the comics. He is part of the prime universe as well.

Black Widow comes with both her Straight and Curly Hair heads (its the same molds as the heads from the mandroid wave only these ones have the digital facepaint, they mentioned the arms are new, not sure if the body is reused from that original Winter Soldier figure or if its on the Infinity War mold)

Man, I deffo did not see Crystar coming, but will gladly snap him up.  Mad bonus points if they at least do a Moltar as well, but in all seriousness I'd totally buy a wave or two of Crystar Marvel Legends.  I loved that weird series when I was a kid (and had almost all the toys).

 

Also that Mindless One wave is possibly the most random wave I've seen in years in terms of character selection.  Not that they're BAD selections, just weird seeing them all in the same wave together.  Clea is the only absolute MUST buy for me, but the rest of the wave doesn't look bad.
