I'm so confused. I know these are more kid-driven that even the recent limited articulation vintage style 3.75 mini Marvel Legends line, but are these "epic" plastic chunks replacing those "legendary" ones? Either way, it's time for Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver!

I can definitely get behind my favorite MUTANT twins...the children of Magneto!

He also mentioned this in a reply to someone asking about next year

We will see some new characters for sure. Many from year 1 will carry forward as is often the case with ‘Kid’ lines. Albeit in different ways. 😉 I don’t think we will go as deep as many of the adult collectors would like. But it brings me joy to see grown ups rediscover play. They say that everyone should eventually put away their childish things. I say. BOLLOCKS to that! Who’s with me?

Wow can't believe how many figures they released already in such a short time, putting in work there Hasbro, I'm actually happy to see that they rested that barely articulated line, because these are actually better, they work mostly the same for collectors of 3.75 but are actually more detailed and well they can get into some poses, if they keep going strong with this line it could have a good range of characters in the end, probably should just stick with this format and never go back to the kenner style overpriced lumps. Only thing these are missing that would pump up the adults are fun looking cardbacks.

.... fun looking cardbacks.

I wonder if next year's version will have that.
I am a bit disappointed in the vehicles.
Hawkeye's sky-cycle & Ghost Rider cycle those small vehicles would work well.
Making regular ones into mini ones is just annoying.

Hasbro is just all over the place with these 4" or 3.75" figures. They keep creating and discontinuing them and whatever they are they always seem to be a step backwards. I know retro and nostalgic is the it thing right now but to me Mattel's Masters of the Universe Origins is the right mid line. Almost perfect retro style with modern articulation. I got a few but if I collected everything I wanted I'd have no money left for bills so I had to give up a few. That being said if they did the Secret Wars figures with modern articulation I would have to get in on that. Luckily it hasn't happened yet.

The retro 375 line has tons of charm and heart and way more collectible overall for adult buyers. These are truly just junky kids meal toys for me.
Finish the retro line with more of those awesome 80's figure vibes & costumes!

Since for this release they reused the webline that came with Miles, which loks better than the one that came with Peter, I decided to do a little 'shopping...

symbiote.png Actual compatibility of the snap-on section aside, at a quick glance it might look pretty good for a "just twhipped" webline.

Carnage could really do with more paint

Carnage could really do with some teeth, why is he all gums? that's an atrocious Carnage, hardly any paint hits, looks like they put it in a microwave.

my Walmart has the Marvel epic figures on clearance among other stuff
Target lowered their price on a few to $9.99

Yapp, these lil guys are all on sale at Walmart's that I've seen, this line didn't really hit, seems like people actually liked the Kenner style figures better, they had more traction, Not collecting these myself but I contemplated it a few times, they are going dirt low cheap right now, if anyone is looking to get into the game, but mostly the odd figures.

is this another toast line?

well now that Capt. America Brave New World will bring out new Falcon coming full circle

I can't believe Hulk would be the only single
and we also have Thunderbolts movie upcoming so maybe more Epic 4 inchers for that
Spidey has been keeping the line going

I'm disappointed we didn't get as many X-men '97 characters as Legends

This Venomverse has way to many gimmicks & translucent parts?!

The only interesting figure is Venom himself.

Those Mech Strike Avengers versions are already at discount stores & did not last very long at regular retail.

The Venomverse Deluxe Venom looks nice, as I wouldn't mind getting it just for a 4" Winged version of the character, since that seems to be a thing in the recent comics(I think it was the "King In Black" Storyline).  I already got the Marvel Select 7" Venom version with the swapping heads and hands as my default Venom for my 6" figures, so I'm good with a 6" version of the character.  I am curious if the real figure will have that slightly shine to it or not, as the photos seem to suggest that.  Though it could also be photo shop pics as well.

Having said that, I'm surprised that Hasbro didn't just re-released and repaint the Water Blasting Wings from that Epic Heroes Deluxe Green Venom with Water Blasting Wings from the 4" Web Splashers line they did released either late 2023 or early 2024, because it looks like a new set of wings for the upcoming figure.  To see what I'm referring to, here's a link from Amazon.ca:

Will consider Iron Man as well, since it does look a bit unique.  Not sure on Black Panther.  Will have to see how Spidey looks, let alone if he is going to have multiple variants.  I'm okay without Loki and Captain America.  If they do that Black Widow Venom figure(Which I highly doubt, but you never know) from the recent comics, I'll consider that too.
