Obviously the countdown to the haslab.

Good call, Tarot! I didn't pick up on that immediately, but I'm sure that you're right.

I still keep holding out hope that we might get another late entry or two for this anniversary line other than the HasLab, but that is seeming less and less likely all the time.

On a somewhat related note, I did get my shipping notice from Walmart for Joe Fixit. He's supposed to arrive tomorrow. Update: Joe Fixit arrived and he's glorious! Now Morbius and six-armed Spidey are supposed to arrive on Monday.

Like you, I am still holding out hope there is still a surprise or two yet this year, I mean, no one saw Drax and Moondragon coming, so who knows. A Giant Man Haslab seems to be a lock, but let's hope this is only the beginning of a long series of Avengers and Avengers related characters head out way in 2024 and beyond.

I'm pretty sure the next wave (after the supposed NWH one) is going to be an Avengers wave. They have started showing off the wave with Justice and Vision (maybe Power Princess but like everyone else I think she may be part of a 2-pack with Coulson (or maybe Red Widow?). So we may get one more wave for this year.

Yes, I bet they plan on panning further and further out or focusing more on smaller details. Ultimately ending up at Giant Man. Looks like each picture will have clues leading to the next. That's obviously Ultron in the background. Maybe a drone army builder pack is next. That would be cool.

That's very observant, I have a feeling you're right. This is getting interesting.

Oh, I love that pic, even if it's a mish-mash.  That right there is the fun of Marvel Legends. 🙂

And just like a Masters of Evil team

While I love the Avengers, I have no love for any kind of "haslab" overpriced project. I hope if they do go for a Giant Man, they won't pull the blackmail thing and put in crucial figures I'd have to miss out on (and keep in mind what's crucial to some isn't crucial to others; they could toss in that Robbie Reyes, couldn't they? lol).

These pictures make me think of figures we haven't seen yet or are in need of an update. The Wrecking Crew come to mind, as do the Masters of Evil, Zodiac and Graviton.

Has me thinking of Thunderbolts. Maybe we will actually get a multi pack with Giant Man and a Goliath or Atlas!

Even IF this wasn't leadng to the Avengers Haslab, these pics are a lot of fun.

I'm all in for the Haslab already unless they give us something incredibly dumb like MODOK wearing different Avengers costumes.

That being said, I hope it skews towards the classic comic lineups. I'm a little down on the MCU  lately (bad movies, constant repaints of Legends instead of new characters) and I'm not feeling the more modern stuff.

Hoping these pics, along with all the recent classic versions we've been getting mean the Haslab follows the pattern

You already know Hasbro well enough to know that will exactly be the case. I imagine a 6" Giant Man with a suit matching the giant Giant Man should be included with the Haslab but you never know. They might pull that Early Bird swindle to get that figure. The tiers will most likely be at least one Wasp in a different outfit. My bet would be the Red and Black suite with the pointy head helmet. Most likely there will be that update for Yellowjacket we've all been waiting for. I'm guessing another tier may be either Bill Foster Goliath or maybe Atlas on maybe the the Caliban or Thanos model. And finally because there always has to be a head swap it will be either an unmasked Hank head sculpt or an alternate mustache Giant Man head sculpt for the modern guy playing Giant Man.

I actually think you may have guessed most of those tiers correctly AndyL! Time will tell, but that pointy helmet Wasp is a must have.

Are these pics coming weekly? Just trying to figure out when the big money drop is coming. This Haslab will be a must have for me (if it's what we are all guessing) and coming at a horrible time monetarily.

It’s kind of a bummer to me that Giant Man is likely the haslab just because his body and most of the costume designs are pretty basic so it could be reused for his other decos + characters like Clint Barton and Erik Josten.

This is at least entertaining while we wait for the Haslab announcement. And we finally have enough villians at this point that they can create a display like this. I really hope they plan to give us an 18" or thereabouts Giant Man and a 12" version of him or more likely Goliath as well. Now is the chance to make a new 12" buck that can be used for other tall figures in the Giant Man family tree and used for deluxe releases down the line. A 6" FA Wasp, 6" Giant Man, Yellowjacket and /or Goliath would also be great tiers for the Haslab. I personally am holding out hope for an Edwin Jarvis and Rick Jones. Outside of a Haslab, I can't see there being enough interest in these two deep cut, civilian, Avengers related characters. But whatever happens, I think most of us comic Avengers collectors will be happy with the Haslab this year. Looking forward to the next picture reveal.

It's probably just me, but I think a better Haslab personally would be a mega-troopbuiling set with head and gear add-ons, or a mega-villain set with the Wrecking Crew, Mephisto and a ton of other unmade baddies...

I've thought the same thing, especially with smaller, intact teams (heroes or villains), where they are done as Amazon exclusives, for example, and, to keep costs down, they do a half-baked job on the figs and/or the accessories. I think if they said, "We want to give this (insert set/team name) some special treatment..." and did something really exciting along those lines, people would likely jump at the chance to have a team they want done the "right way". For example, Snowbird (part of Alpha Flight). She can turn into a Snowy Owl. How cool if they would include an effects piece and an owl to display the transformation. Can't do that in a regular line fig, but you could with something like a HasLab release. Another example (which is now kind of ruined but could have been cool) would have been a set of SHIELD forces and things like that. I know we've gotten a lot of Spider-Man villains in recent years, but I wish they'd go back and do something like a Sinister Six box set, etc.

People always want better paint apps and more accessories. Going the HasLab route would allow Hasbro's people to go nuts with doing some stuff they are likely constrained from doing with the regular lines.

If it's one look only, I'm hoping it's the red and blue Goliath. He appeared that way in the most issues, I think. The original suit was actually not used a ton. Plus, like others have said, I'm pretty happy with my Toy Biz one. They seem to be pretty Gung ho on redoing all TBs figures though. If it is the original, I am hoping for an alternate head with the weird hood he wore for like 2 issues!
