Hasbro Celebrates Avengers 60th Anniversary! Part 1 of 7

That is a heck of a question my friend. And one I've been running through my head myself. On the one hand Giant Man should not be anywhere near as complicated in design as either the Sentinel or Galactus. Seriously they could just use a larger version of the Vulcan body mold if they wanted. Our luck they'll probably use the Sunfire one. Lol. On the other hand I think they might try to offset some of those cost savings by doing some cannot miss tiers. Alternately they could make him much larger than either one of the previous projects. That would track correctly too. I know a lot of people say he should not be bigger than Galactus but the listed height of 23" is only for his earthly representation. It had nothing to do with his true size or massive power. We also do know that Giant Man has reached heights well over 100". All that being said they do have more than a few options but I honestly don't think they're going to let us off the hook with less than $350. All I'm saying is I hope they learned something from the Engine of Vengeance fiasco and don't just expect that we're going to fund just anything they put out just because it's ML. We need some pretty good substance for that price.

I'm really hoping a tier is not a large ant to mimic his shrinking. It really wouldn't make sense but I can see Hasbro doing it.

Now, in. The past I've suggested that instead of one super large figure that gets close to Sentinel or Galactus size (which also wouldnt make sense), we get multiple versions of Hanks more famous suits. Like the classic Giant -Man and both red and blue Goliaths. Then maybe tiers are Barton and Foster Goliath. This way we get lots of giant sized characters. I mean, FA Wasp could fit into any Avengers related wave.

Regardless what we get this is exciting!!

It's probably just me, but I think a better Haslab personally would be a mega-troopbuiling set with head and gear add-ons, or a mega-villain set with the Wrecking Crew, Mephisto and a ton of other unmade baddies...

I can't see where a Yellowjacket or FA Wasp being included in tiers for what is likely going to be a $3-400+ hazlab is a "great" thing ( $300.00+ not necessarily because its worth that, but because that seems to be the range they're pushing for).  Pulse would be better.

What if it's not "Giant-man" but instead "Goliath"?
I know it IS Hank man but since his giant man suits are ..........."plain", maybe they will try and do his Goliath for instead?

I still hope we get one or both Goliath figures along with a Giant Man. Goliath was always my favorite Hank Pym persona, but I'm probably in the minority. Giant Man was an original Avenger, is generally far more well known, and is the version of Pym's growth serum superhero that got the tallest - 100 feet at one point I believe. So one or two 12" Goliath figures, along with a 18" Giant Man, would make me happy. I think they should give us Yellowjacket, red/blue and yellow/blue Goliaths in 6 " form as well. There's been a lot of talk about a FA wasp, but like others have pointed out, she would fit into any Avengers based wave down the line and has enough interest she probably shouldn't be behind a Haslab price wall, so more people can have her on their shelf. Then of course there's our boy Javis... I really think this is the best chance we have of getting a civilian, Avengers related figure like him. Besides, who else is gonna bring Giant Man a giant snack at the mansion? All will be revealed soon!

Are Early Bird exclusives still something Hasbro would try after the Robbie Reyes misstep? Has any Early Bird incentive actually worked? I don't t collect G.I.Joe or Star Wars so honestly I  am asking if some brand has pulled one off. I've heard Mattel has t had much luck..

I'm afraid an updated Yellowjacket or important Wasp suit will get offered as one and we will immediately see it fail again. For the first time ever with a HasLab project I'm "Day of.." ordering but before this very specific offering I normally have waited until the last hours of funding. I'd really hate to have a failed incentive hang over the entire funding time.

YOU'D hope Hasbro has learned something from the Ghost Rider Lab that Early birds and total cost can be detrimental to a success if the base  the offering is mediocre. You'd hope....

For the tiers, I really want a classic Wasp and 2 well done miniature versions of both her and Giant-man. Hank and Janet secret identity figures would be great. Jarvis I'd be cool with. I'm hoping Giant-man is in his classic costume.  I assume he will be since this apparently part of the 60th anniversary line.

Don't forget a Dr Doom head!! Wait, Doom heads aren't standard tiers?

Also does any else think this will be the only way to Jarvis? I have a funny feeling he is one of the tiers for this Avengers based project.

After my planned customs for a Jarvis using Mattel Alfred and Morlun parts never materialozed I'm going to have to insist Hasbro just go ahead amd make us one

I for one can't forget how they reacted when it was clear people weren't falling for that haslab. And just to repeat, these don't need a "crowd funding" effort behind them. If they do go with Giant-Man/Goliath, the same people that would buy into a haslab effort for it would buy into it if were offered on Pulse.

Don't forget that SDCC exclusive with the 12 inch red and black more modern look Giant man, and the 6 inch yellow and blue Goliath. So, we don't need either of them. A repaint of the 6 inch Goliath to the red and blue would be easy, but not enough for a Haslab imo. (Maybe an Amazon exclusive 5 pack)  I personally think they shouldn't shy away from going all out with the tier figures. More Morg, less repaints.

Know who would be a neat tier? Porcupine 😃

I don't know about tier but at least a BAF. Porcupine has a number of neat features on that suit ( the original one, pictured here) with hidden panels that lift up to fire weapons, gas, insults and of course quills. While I don't want to encourage a hazlab, I would expect classic Whirlwind to feature, as he's a long time foe of  Ant/GIant-man & the Wasp

I really like him, but I'd rather not get another Whirlwind. I get they could do a different look for him, but he peg warmed for a looooong time. He is a classic Ant Man villain, but not so important to get multiple looks.

It's funny that they've done so much Pym lately. The WCA look, and classic AM woulda been very high on my list for tiers if we hadn't just gotten them. So I  hoping for at least one deep dive tier.
