Figure and price are great. Tiers are a bit disappointing. It's cool to have them, and only 4000 more to get both other looks, but I think we'd all prefer figures. No blue hood and cowl for his second costume, that I think I was the only one who wanted lol. Hope we are gonna get a few more tiers announced after it gets backed and the two tiers are unlocked. Feeling good about this one. I wanted the car last year, but when I got to the shipping and tax at 387 bucks, I hesitated. This time there was zero hesitation! I think we are good this time, finger crossed!!!!

I love the Avengers!  This is cool.  But I would love a classic Swordsman and comic Mantis and as Jessie mentioned, he's been doing this for over 20 years and I have been there every step of the way.  I'm not sure the Swordsman and Mantis are main stream but as former Avengers they were with Giant man and I would love to see them part of the Giants Team.

I feel like the V strap is the more iconic look than the Y strap. Paint wipes and glass eyes or whatever seem out of place among my other Marvel Legends. Lastly, he's a little too large for my liking. It says they took inspiration from his first appearance, but he's 2x normal human height there, not 4x.

For that and display reasons, I think I'd rather have a Super Adaptoid sized and priced Giant Man, or halfway in between.

This looks great! I love that it's 24 inches as I think is probably the ideal height for this offering. I'm definitely going to back the project and would likely buy 2 (maybe 3?) if both faceplates fund.

I bought 3 Sentinels and always regretted not getting a fourth to use the battle damaged look. I never really considered getting more than one Galactus, but I certainly may buy more than one Giant Man and the price point makes that more realistic.

Once we heard the rumored $199 price point I knew that there wouldn't be multiple tiers of 6" figures, but not even one is disappointing -- but if that's what kept it under $200, then I"ll take it! I bet they release a new Wasp around the time this about to ship next fall -- maybe in a 2-pack with lab coat Hank.

Hey it's probably just me, but I found this whole thing kinda dull, and unamusing, 200 bucks for this? now seems like still too much, 150, yeah maybe, it's just kinda meh, just a giant giant man, with some swappable faces, really happy for those who are pumped on this, but this doesn't move me much at all, it's not really exciting, it's too big, I got no place for it, and I sorta feel like it doesn't even need to be 200 or a crowdfunded thing, 150 and just make it a pulse exclusive. I still always gotta ask Why do you have to crowdfund ? yer Hasbro?, if yer scared it won't sell just make it limited. it's basically what yer doing now.

Kinda cool with this not having an Tier figures, cause those were what was worrying me I'd want, I always knew I didn't care much for a huge Giant Man, but the potential of some Tier figures got me wondering, but Nada, no tier figures, so Easy Pass

So a little bummed but not bummed at all if that makes sense. Giant Man is beautiful,  truly great figure. The extra Pym faces are nice, I can see using the angry face but the happy face looks.. almost psychotic (and not in a Yellowjacket sort of way). I do admit the victorious team photo at the end goes a long way towards making me liking the smiling face TBH..

But the Tiers are kinda blah. The Skrull head maybe but the Zombie head is very niche.. I guess not as bad as Doom head for Galactus though.... and this isnt Hasbro’s fault at all, I had gotten my hopes up that we'd get some 6" figures as Tiers.

Overall, I couldn't be happier. Glad nothing was locked behind an unrealistic Early Bird, Hasbro 1000% knocked their Giant Man out of the park, once again improving on the previous stellar Toybiz version and its the right balance if cost Vs value.

You could argue that Hasbro played it safe and is doing everything  they can to make sure this succeeds but outside of my personal hopes, this offering is a perfect way to end the amazing 60th anniversary wave.

Well done Hasbro. I'm already backing Giant Man

Same. This would be way out of whack in my display, but happy for those who want it. Maybe we'll see a more moderately sized GM a couple years from now.

I prefer the V strap on the Toybiz version over the Y strap on the Haslab,

Maybe, but they have done multiple versions of him at 12" already over the years and there will likely be a flood of those on the secondary market over the next year or so. I think the ToyBiz BAF is just a little taller than that and there will probably be a lot of those on the secondary market once this is out as well. I won't be selling mine, but I'm sure that there will be people who will.

I think part of the faceplates, beside keeping costs down, is a reaction to the "hostage figure" backlash from last year.

Yeah, these things always feel a little no-win. People who already want to back them are always excited for exclusive figures, and they can really help move a project forward, but people who don't want the main figure always feel a little held hostage. Should Hasbro disappoint their target audience with the product, or disappoint other people who are invested in the overall line but not the specific product?

I get that. Personal preference and all.

Truth be told, I'd rather the finger and toe articulation wasn't a thing, you just can't make a fist look quite right when so many joints are trying to collapse. Always comes off as a sort of.. hollow Fist or half fist. Thus was my biggest gripe about Toybiz's version as well.

But since I'm not planning on selling off my TB version, I'll have both V and Y stripes.. win/win

I think they should excite and cater to those that are actually going to buy the thing. Most of the hostage complainers also say they won't back it anyway. They present a false choice that if it isnt backed we will all get the figure in regular release. The actual choice is They dont get it cause they dont back, or none of us get it. I dont want to start a fight with anyone, but thats how I think about it.

I'm still hoping for some cool reveals at 16000 and 18000.

I dont hate the price; but for what the stretches are im unimpressed. Im pretty happy with my Toy Biz version, and while I adore crazy lookin crap like this, I subjectively like appealing unlock tiers to justify the value. I would not have backed Galactus without Frankie Raye Nova and Morg; and the let down tier was the last one.

IMO it would be more appealing ifhe first tier was just included; or have the faceplate bundled with say Jarvis or something. I get the hostage figure argument but when how long did we as fans wait for FR Nova and Morg to get anything? Its a double edged sword.

Well, some surprises with the final product, but still very impressed. He is muscular and fairly beefy, which will work well for stability and in making other tall figures down the line from this buck... comic Surtur anyone?! The textures on the suit, gloves and boots are very nice, as well as the articulation. And the paint apps, wow, am I looking at a ToyBiz figure, lol?! I didn't expect them to go 2 feet for the height, but it's fine by me. It makes him really tower over the 6" figures. The alternate heads and face plates are nice, although that smiling one looks a little creepy, like its right out of the movie Smile. No 6" figures is a bit of a head scratcher, but at this price point and with those collectors who hate a figure being behind a price wall, I'm neither surprised nor disappointed. This will be a great addition to my Avengers display... and I'm still keeping my TB Giant Man, lol.

wELL...I'll echo what others have already said, this didn't need to be a "crowdfunded" thing, but the price is nice.

The figure itself is fantastic, very well done. And note how they  molded on the jagged glove and boot tops? YES.

Overall though, underwhelming, to say the least. VERY surprised they didn't include a 6" sized figure to go along with the giant version. At the same time I'm hugely relieved they didn't have tiers that would spoil the whole thing. Good news, but PASS.

Fig with the stoic face, really nice. I bet this will look amazing in hand with the texture and shadowing. In most pics, the smiling face looks seriously creepy/cheesy, and the "angry" face looks like something you'd expect to see on the face of a villain, not a hero figure. Don't care about the zombie and Skrull faceplates.

I have the old Toybiz BAF, which I love. But still a bit tempted by this, as one of my all-time favorite figs is the super-articulate 18" Spider-Man they did years ago, and this would be similar. For those who really want this, I hope it gets enough backers.

Don’t really care much for the zombie or skrull parts but they’re nice offerings. I do very much like the figure itself so that’s a back from me!

Surprised also about there not being a 6” included. Wonder if that would possibly be the 3rd unlock 🤔.  Like how they did the sentinel.
Whatever the case, hoping there’ll be some cool, classic Avengers released late next year to compliment this thing… assuming it funds.

You know, Tarot I believe, was saying there was another Avengers wave coming possibly at the end of this year still. If the new Vision, Power Princess and Vance Astro are part of it, maybe some GM related figures will be in it too. That would be one explanation for them not showing them all at SDCC... wouldn't want to spoil the Haslab. After seeing the new GM, I am totally open to a 6" version in an Avengers wave, as well as his other costumed personas, FA Wasp, and my man Jarvis.

I wouldn't put it past the team to announce fa wasp or yellowjacket at pulse con or nycc
