Honestly, this is the perfect kind of con exclusive. Very niche and unique but cool for anyone who wanted it. They should never make popular or necessary characters exclusives like this, unless it's a rerelease of an existing character with some fun twists like the Deadpool set. Honestly Hasbro has been knocking it out of the park this year, except for a couple missteps like choosing to rerelease concept art Spidey.

I'm definitely in for Detroit Steel and have been asking for it for years!

I'm not expecting much additional Marvel news at Pulse-Con. They've already shown the HasLab. I have to expect that the next big reveal is the No Way Home figures, which I don't have any interest in. It seems too early to start showing 2024 stuff. Maybe we'll get a one-off store exclusive or two announced.

Def really want that Detroit Steel, it looks rad, and a new sweet character, but I was hoping it would have been a regular release, can't stand the Pulse exclusives, but I really want it so I guess I'm going to have to just be fine with it all.

excited as always to see what the Con reveals, but I have a feeling it's going to be mostly stuff for the end of the year like NWH figures, so I can breathe easy and pass hopfully on tons of stuff. It would be nice to finally see some Retro Carded Iron Man figures though, and Retro carded Ghosty wave, still waiting to see things like that.

Could be that I’m just spoiled from all the convention exclusives that’ve released over the years but to me this feels kind of bleh for a con special.

"Its not you, its me"   lol

Seriously I don't think you're spoiled, and yes it is "bleh".  But just imagine that they had some projects in the wing they've been working on all along. Like the Marvel Monsters premium boxset, featuring Tomb of Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Werewolf, Living Mummy, Satanna, Or they showcase some figures that are deeply needed to finish off some the team rosters; Rachel Phoenix for Excalibur, Marinna for Alpha Flight, or the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy (Yondu, Martinex, Charlie-27, Starhawk and Nikkita, not to mention a re-do for Vance Astro). And of course that fan favorite, Lockjaw and the Inhumans. All of course to be released to the general public very soon afterwards. Something like that would look great for the convention.

God I hope this is when we see the NWH wave revealed. That's the last thing on the list for this year that hasn't been revealed and they teased it at the last con so it has to be NWH right? Other than that, we'll probably get something for next year, maybe that Avengers wave that maybe consists of those figures they had out at the last one.

Isn't there also another Avengers based wave and X-Men based wave supposed to be revealed before the end of the year? Or am I getting confused with previous years?

There's been talk of another Avengers wave and some X-Men stuff I think for next year but from Rektangular's list for 2023, the NWH wave is the last thing to be revealed.

Probably will, The Transfomers Panel is going to be about next year, so I wouldn't be surprised if other panels will be similar

@Atlantis oh man yes all that would be stellar. But yeah I’ve just been missing the presentation that came with window packaging I guess. And sets on that level of The Raft, Hellfire, Battle For Asgard, etc.

They really really should re-release or update Hellfire Club. A lot of people missed out, especially our overseas brethren, and its a shame. It would be really cool for them.

My expectations are pretty low for Marvel Legends at PulseCon. I think they'll use it as an opportunity to again pitch the Giant-Man HasLab. They'll also likely show the full No Way Home wave. I'm actually expecting images of these to come out before the presentation. Beyond that I'm thinking that we may get lucky enough to see how Crystar, Power Princess and Vision are being released. It's possible that these are all in one wave, but I tend to doubt it.  I'm not really expecting a lot of new reveals beyond No Way Home. I'm expecting that they'll leave the 2024 stuff we've seen rumors on like the Wolverine anniversary 2-packs until the wider conventions (NYCC and ToyFair). I don't feel like they can likely show any other MCU stuff because who knows right now how long all of those future movies/shows are going to have to be pushed off due to the actor and writer strikes (other than Loki which I believe is still expected to come out in October).

However I am certainly excited for Detroit Steel as I've wanted that for years!! I still have the Super Hero Squad version. 😆

On marginally related topics I noticed that Target has started the markdowns on the Avengers 60th anniversary stuff. After receiving Peter/Smythe last week, I received the Blur/Nighthawk 2-pack and 4 sets of the female Hydra/SHIELD troopers this week. The face printing on those extra female heads is phenomenal!!

That Hellfire Club set was one heck of a great con exclusive. Hasbro is going to have a hard topping that, IMO. I'm not really into Detroit Steel but he does seem pretty cool. Hopefully there are some good reveals. I'm curious when and how we are getting Power Princess and if she is coming in a 2 pack like the other Squadron members. Hopefully she'll be released soon. I've got a shipping notice on Whizzer and Nighthawk.

I think the Netflix Defenders set rivals it but that's just as a movie/show collector primarily. I miss when con exclusives used to be multi-packs, now we're lucky to get even 3 figures in a set for a con.

I'm expecting a 2 pack of Marinna and Rachel Phoenix. Titled Missing Maidens or Forgotten Females. No connection to each other except they were inexplicably forgotten when the rest of their Teams got to shine.

Detroit Steel was something I was thinking about but I realized I was mistaking it for Toni Ho's version of the Iron Patriot armor from U.S.Avengers. So now thinking I can pass

I'd love it so much if Hasbro kept the Avengers 60th figures coming, technically every year is an anniversary year haha. I know the new Classic Vision needs a home, might as well throw in more never done before figures like they did with the celebration wave.

If I'm being honest, the offering the Avengers got in terms of new members was so much better than the XMen got. Though the Danger Room suits were very cook.
