A number of companies have done the Universal Studios monsters in B&W after doing the color versions, so its not unheard of. IF hasbo ever did monsters, I would expect the color versions first and then maybe B&W if there's a demand.

I also wonder if Hasbro wants to see how well the return of the window packaging helps boosts sales. I feel if sales bounce back Hasbro will probably start releasing even more figures, which would then increase the chance of WBN figures being made.

I don't think window-packaging will boost sales in any sense, I think it will restore some consumer confidence in the brand by allowing  buyers to see what the contents really are.  Blind-box fraud is showing up more and more now in anecdotal evidence from collectors, which is slightly behind the expected curve.
On the other hand, if sculpts and paint still remain spotty on figures, window-packages might cool excitement for upcoming figures.

You don't think it'll boost sales a little? I think it might just because of the MOC collectors. But maybe it won't.

I think that Marvel Legends has a captive consumer audience who have been buying the merch all along regardless of blind-box or window packaging.
I really don't think it'll attract new buyers, but I don't think it really dissuaded all that many existing buyers either.
I think the THREAT of losing customers on the blind-box packaging made Hasbro react defensively, because the timeline between implementation and rescinding the blind-boxes was so short, I suspect there wasn't a whole lot of sales info to inform the decision.  I do think a lot of really sound reasons against blind-boxes were made from the fan-base, that probably took Hasbro aback and made them think twice.

BUT...........that all said, I think ML was hamstrung by the blind boxes, because of how the merch could be presented.  GI Joe Classified did, admittedly, a bang-up job of exploiting the format with "story images" on the box tops, along with parts diagrams on the back side. showcasing the contents.  The story aspect and the visual Easter-eggs were really clever and compelling.  I am no fan of blind-boxes, but I do hope Hasbro can find a way to continue the story stuff on those packages.

Marvel Studios has unveiled a trailer and captivating new artwork for the highly anticipated colorized version of Werewolf by Night. Originally announced by Disney in September 2023, this special presentation from Marvel Studios is set to premiere on October 20, 2023. Directed by the talented Michael Giacchino, the colorized special promises to be a visually stunning and immersive experience.

The synopsis of Werewolf by Night in Color sets the stage for a dark and ominous night, where a clandestine group of monster hunters emerges from the shadows and convenes at the foreboding Bloodstone Temple following the demise of their leader. In a peculiar and eerie tribute to their fallen comrade, the attendees find themselves embroiled in a mysterious and perilous competition for a potent relic. This treacherous hunt will ultimately bring them face to face with a formidable monster. Drawing inspiration from the horror films of the 1930s and 1940s, this chilling special aims to evoke a sense of foreboding and the macabre, offering plenty of suspense and scares as it delves into a previously unexplored corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The original black-and-white version of Marvel Studios' Special Presentation: Werewolf By Night premiered on Disney+ on October 7, 2022. The special features an exceptional cast, including Gael García Bernal as Jack Russell/the Werewolf by Night, Laura Donnelly as Elsa Bloodstone, Harriet Sansom Harris as Verussa Bloodstone, and Carey Jones as Man-Thing.

It would be awesome if they revealed a Disney+ Werewolf by Night 3-pack for that 10/27 event with Werewolf by Night, Man-Thing and Elsa Bloodstone. They could do both a B&W version and a color version and have them be Pulse / Fan Channel exclusives.
