oh they will. but not for a while because of this.

Yeah, you're probably right, but there are some figures that make it difficult to choose between the two. I bought the Select version of Destroyer, and it was so good that I couldn't bring myself to buy the one in the Thor two-pack.

Marvel Legends will never need to revisit this one now - this looks fantastic!

He's supposed to be about 5'11" so the 7" Select standard would make him too large. However, we all know full well hasbo ignores such things at will, so that's not saying much.

Life within the Negative Zone is as shockingly savage… as brutally, inhumanly, incomprehensible as ever… And behind the turmoil and the terror, is the loathsome, lethal being known only as Annihilus… he who annihilates ! Striking without warning, without the slightest vestige of mercy, his motives are as cloaked in mystery as they are couched in menace !”

Yo this figure looks rad, pretty sure this is a must get, I have doubts that Hasbro will do this anytime soon, and because DST is doing this now, He might be a wee bit big, but probably fine enough, Hasbro will likely not get his height right either so whatever, this looks awesome, price will be nice and I just need a representation of this guy on the shelf, this hits the mark.

Ugggg! It's things like these that makes it hard for me to keep my refusal to support MS ever again. But on the other hand I look at rubbish like Iceman and it reminds me just exactly why. Worst thing about this is it looks phenomenal and the 2nd worst thing is the B team beats Hasbro to the punch yet again like they did with Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo. And I'm not sure why but it seems Hasbro tries to put a quite a bit of space between when they release a figure that MS does. Which confuses me because MS seems to have no such similar qualms and even use some suspiciously similar sculpts at times. In the end it means it'll probably be another few years until we see an ML version. Credit where credit is do. When they decide to do amazing they do do it amazingly well. Enjoy MS fans.

The Legends team should do this, and lean heavily on the style used by Kirby/Buscema. Back then, Annihilus had a much more glossy, metallic, almost robotic look. He had a bulkier form, and he also had a buck-tooth grimace he somehow managed to pull off without looking goofy. This rendition of the Living Death Who Walks would be fantastic.

No pun intended.

I am excited for these man. Easy purchase for all of em, but I will say it looks like they did without any thigh swivel specifically going off went seems to be the final rendition of some of these figures, which sucks alot. Regardless DST heading in a better directions ever since Titanium man.

I try to be real choosy with my Selects, but Annihilus is a must-have.  I don't care if he's a bit larger than my Legends.  The guy's the tyrannical ruler of the Negative Zone, he's allowed to be big and imposing. I don't need my figures to perfectly line up with the official handbook or anything, as long as Wolverine is short and really tall people are tall, I'm good.

I hear you. I see why someone could pass on some of those. I'm not a big Select fan. I've said it before, anyone on the fence about Titanium Man, should get it now. Amazon has it for about $26.00. If Select scale concerns you, have no fear because this one fits perfectly with how its supposed to be portrayed next to your 6" Iron Man. Don't hold out for hasbo to do a BAF; it most likely will not wind up the proper height, and you'd be smokin something if you hope any Deluxe they do would come to $26.00  lol.

The ruler of the Negative Zone has unleashed his Annihilation Wave and no force on Earth can stop him! This 1/10 scale, approximately 7" figure of Fantastic Four foe and Guardians of the Galaxy antagonist Annihilus is based on his appearance in classic Marvel Comics.

With poseable wings, interchangeable parts and 16 points of articulation, this figure also includes a non-poseable figurine of Annihilus before he was changed by the Cosmic Control Rod! It comes packaged in Select-style blister card packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference. You can pre-order this figure from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Yeah I'm going to get this, I actually can't imagine even if Hasbro did do this, which will likely be not for some time now, this will be as good, or better.

Totally agree, this is one of the characters that can be out of scale, and I cant see hasbro doing this soon and better (I still have in the front of my shelves the Ultron Select and never cared for Hasbro cheap and small versions)

Very cool iteration of Annihilus. Someone else mentioned this but I think this is one of those Select figures that could easily fit to scale with Marvel Legends because of the nature of the character. Similar to the Select Mephisto. I still want to see what Hasbro's version will look like but who knows when that will happen. Maybe we'll get a surprise cosmic wave in 2024 that includes classic Adam Warlock, a classic Beta Rey Bill, and an Annihilus BAF! Here's to hoping!
