Is Harry Potter Going To Play Wolverine In The MCU?

Daniel Radcliffe has recently confirmed that he did not undergo a physical transformation to portray Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In a video released by Vanity Fair, Radcliffe, who is currently starring in the Broadway musical Merrily We Roll Along, was interviewed by Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez while connected to a lie detector. During the interview, Mendez inquired whether Radcliffe was responsible for the rumors suggesting his potential involvement as Wolverine.

Radcliffe promptly responded, denying any involvement in initiating the rumors. He clarified that his physical fitness is a result of his personal obsession rather than preparation for the role of Wolverine. Radcliffe humorously mentioned that his parents, who are dedicated fitness enthusiasts, have passed on their passion for fitness to him. Despite feeling flattered by the speculation, Radcliffe firmly stated that he has no plans to portray Wolverine in the MCU.

JB Smoove is also on the record stating he has no plans to portray Wolverine.

LOL. That would be funny if that wasn't a legit possibility in this day and age. Then again if 20 years ago you'd told me a 6'4" pretty boy like Jackman was going to play Wolverine I would have told you to stop smokin'.

Hasn't this become the standard reaction from every actor being rumored to play a character in the MCU? Right before they get cast as that character?

Expecto Patronum, Bub!

I have a feeling this gonna be a comedy gag in the style of X-Men first class scene where Wolverine tells Magneto and Charles to go off but this times it will be with Deadpool looking for the "right" Wolverine and keep getting the wrong ones, Karl Urban is also rumored to be playing Wolvie so this also could mean there will be a lot of 'wrong' wolverines played by different actors.

I hope that's true, it would be awesome...

Scott Eastwood was born to be Wolverine

As far as Radcliff... flush... cmon, you're really going to start THAT far in a hole for XMen? I have never seen a single Potter film so it's the rest of his body of work that makes me think he would suck as Wolverine.

Scott Eastwood?!  Dude, c'mon! Radcliffe is at least closer to the right size for the character and he can act. Eastwood is a handsome guy, but totally boring to watch and he has no marquee value (no successes in his body of work).

I'll agree Eastwood is a pretty boy but no amount of cheerleading will chamge my mind that Radcliffe is a good actor.

Well, whomever they choose will sure to be a hot topic conversation.

I mean one could say the same thing about Hugh Jackman's body of work when he took on the role. I specifically remember working in a very large medical clinic at the time and honestly maybe 1 out of 20 even knew who the guy was at the time. And now its almost sacrilegious to think of anyone but him playing the role.

I'd be all for Harry Potter to play Wolverine, he could look the part, he's at least very good in the height department and a good actor, he's young enough to carry the role for years to come and is a huge star, would he be my first pick..not sure really at this point, but I'm not concerned with fan picks, in the end just do the character right that's all I care about.

I've seen some recent images of dude and some imposed in wolverine like poses gotta say it's not a bad look for him.
