Hmm a classic, definitive DD with alternate heads/expressions.. Mafex knows what up, aesthetically. This is pretty much exactly what I want from ML on the Vulcan build.

On another note, I’m sure they would make one hell of a classic Green Goblin that I could not say no to.

There are a few things I enjoy about MAFEX. Firstly I love their dedication to proper scale among figures in the same universe. That pic with DD and Cap and Spidey and Wolvie is just awesome. I love their articulation system and the fact that they do make sure those joints match the figure. But then after that? The prices are outrageous. And yes I understand the technicals of small companies versus large and the overseas market and all that but darn near $100 for that piece of plastic is crazy. Speaking of plastic theirs is just a lot more brittle and stiff and it just doesn't feel safe if you drop it eve a few feet. Too fragile for my taste. And what Hasbro has done with it's head sculpts and face printing has surpassed even the best in the field up to this point. There used to be a very distinct difference between ML and some of these import companies and very wide gap in quality but at this point in the game that gap is either not there anymore or just a slight matter of taste. That shot of the ML and MAFEX Daredevils standing side by side tells me all I need to know. And that's even with Daredevil on the improper body IMO. But either way I'll keep that extra $70 and deal with the lack of accessories. It's nothing ML fans haven't been dealing with for years.

Those shoulders look pretty Toy Biz like to me.
