Hasbro today is holding another Fan-Stream, this time with the Marvel Legends brand team. They will be recaping the second wave of X-Men 97 figures that debuted yesterday which includes Magento, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Goblin Queen and X-Cutioner. These will be going up for pre-order at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth in early 2024.

I also suspect we will be getting more details today on the X-Men Lilandra figure that Hasbro showed us in November. We do expect at lease one Marvel Legends item to go up for pre-order tomorrow (12/15) at 1pm ET.

Panel begins.

Talking about their Pulse Fan-Poll Red Widow figure showing it off.

New for 2024, Marvel Studios figures being offered to people new to the line with new packaging. So mostly reissued figures. First one shown is the Iron Man Mark 85 Endgame figure. Infinity War Iron Spider-Man. These are the only two in the line being offered in 2024.

Retailer exclusives with no pre-order dates: Comic Sam Wilson Captain America with wings and unique shield. This is a Spring 2024 Target exclusive. Comic Hail Hydra Captain America with new shield. This will be released as a Walmart exclusive in the spring.

Now going over the new X-Men 97 wave 2 figures. Magento, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Goblin Queen and X-Cutioner. Jean is new sculpt and cyclops has the straps keyed in so they won't move on the figure. The Goblin Queen is based on the look she will have in the new X-Men animated series.

2024 is the 50th Anniversary of Wolverine. They are doing four 2pks each anchored with a Wolverine figure. These are going to be released as fan-channel exclusives along with Amazon. Brood Wolverine with Lilandra, Cowboy Logan with bigger Jim Lee Sabretooth, Lady Psylocke and Ninja Black Costume Wolverine, Patch and Joe Fixit in tuxedo's. Brood Wolverine with Lilandra, Cowboy Logan with bigger Jim Lee Sabretooth will go up for pre-order tomorrow (12/15) at 1pm ET at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth.

Now going over their draft picks for 2023.

Final reveal is of Warren Worthington as Angel. It uses the Vulcan base.

They also teases a fire accessory as a teaser for a future figure. They also used the word Otherworld to describe it.

Panel ends.

My assumption would be pics of the Wolvie 2 packs. I would like to see that rumored deluxe Angel!

As far a X Men wishlist stuff goes- Albert for the Wolvie, Human look Beast, Snowman look Iceman, Scalphunter,  trenchcoat Mastermind, Artie and Leech (together as a single), Wolfsbane, baf Blockbuster.

Never gonna happen, but maybe a few could sooner than later.

Yep, I'm expecting it to be the Wolverine show with all those 2-packs. I really don't need any more Wolvies even if they're pinless, but combining him in 2-packs with characters that I do want is likely going to hurt. I already know that I'll likely end up buying most of them, though. Deluxe Jim Lee Sabretooth? No doubt. First Appearance Psylocke? Very likely. White Tux Joe Fixit and Patch? Yep, I'm a sucker. Full figure of Lilandra? Yes, for sure. The question will really be if the rumored Angel and Wolfsbane figures are coming in 2-packs with Wolvies also. A lot of people are going to want both of those figures. The other question is how many of these are going to be store exclusives versus general releases.

Heard a rumor that the Bettsy in the Wovie 2 pack is NOT first app. Supposedly it's an armored Asian Psylocke. Not sure of the validity, but I hope it's wrong. I really want that flowy pink original look Betts. Crazy that it's rumored to be a civilian Logan with Llandra instead of the very obvious Fang outfit. Anyone else annoyed at how bad it looks if you put a Wolverine head on the Fang figure that just came out?

Not super pumped about the more Wovies thing either. They arent quite at the bottom of the barrel, but they are leaning in pretty far. I scoffed at the Patch/ Fixit at first due to it being  one issue. The more I think about it, the more I want it though lol. I would like to see the classic 25th anniversary cover half ripped mask though.

Excited to get some marvel legends reveals to close out 2023 with! Sounds like everyone is anticipating a Wolverine theme. Personally, I'm a one-and-done type of collector. That being said, I am excited for a classic Angel, especially if it was included in a two-pack with Wolfsbane. Part of me is hoping for some way out there reveals like a retro Chameleon! But that may just be asking too much. Either way, excited to get some new reveals!

I hope they show off anything that will get me excited about this line. This year to me has not been a good year for collecting legends. I need more classic villians, too many heroes this year.

There was certainly a lot I wasn't interested in purchasing (mainly movie stuff), but in a year (I believe) with Hawkeye, Black Widow, Blob, Drax, Ronan, Yondu, Ant-Man, Clea, Wonderman, The Orb, Powerman, Vision, Star-Lord, X-Men 97 Wolverine, X-Men 97 Bishop, Female Hydra/Shield 2-Pack, Black Knight, Sersei, Destroyer, Avalanche, Dark Phoenix, Spiral, Longshot, Skrull 2-Pack, Joe Fixit, Emma Frost, Gray Hulk 2-Pack, and a Giant-Man Haslab, I would say it was a pretty solid year.
