IF this is mutant based, classic Banshee, not to mention Siryn....THIS time with a screaming head. Jeez.

Neal Adams Angel...now that's gonna really depend on how well the wings are done.

Also its past time Destiny appeared. Oh let's not forget classic Mastermind and Harry Leland. Ah, Polaris in her Dave Cockrum lace net outfit too.

Finish off the rest of the Starjammers, in fact let's finish off all these teams they've been dragging feet on.

Definitely need Destiny and Mastermind to be done.

Great, Wolverine 2 Packs, not getting excited for these.

Right. I'm not understanding the push behind this. Its not like an (accurate) Angel or a Sabertooth won't sell on their own. More to follow.....

I get it is an anniversary but it only makes sense if the Logans and the characters match. Also, there is nothing to say that Angela nd Sabretooth aren't just Single figures, because so far it's all rumours

Oh X-Men 97 wave 2, interesting, That Cyclops is pretty nice, I might have to get that to replace my Jacketed one, seems pretty comic passable, but the real winner here is Goblin Queen, sure it's a cartoon look, but it's amazing! I feel like that's something I'm not going to complain about, and I def going to get it, X-ecutioner is a maybe...could pass as comic, but does look a bit too specific, but might just get it anyways, the rest of this wave, looks good no need for them for me, the comic versions are what I'm sticking with.

That Sabretooth is perfect - Better than I could have asked for (and the Logan looks great too). The Brood Wolverine/Lilandra Pack - didn't see that coming, and I just mentioned the other day that it would be cool to see a deluxe Wolverine with Brood Replacement parts. The Hulk/Patch Pack is incredible too. Damn good reveals!

So pretty nice reveals here, not a ton I'm likely going for , really want that Red Widow, Movie figures no, New Cap, pass, Sam with wings finally...but pass, I can be fine without wings, Really loving that Brood Wolvie glad that comes with Lilandra, so that's a for sure, love that Psylocke Lady Mandarin but that Wolvierine is a dud, but will buy for Betsy, As much as I love that new Sabretooth update, I can pass, the older one is fine, don't need that new Cowboy Wolverine despite it not being bad, Patch & Fixit easy pass, Angel looks amazing, but likely also a pass, Archangel look is my preferred Angel and I'm fine with it.

ANGEL! And it looks like they got the wings right! The boots have that nasty visible cut but otherwise, this looks incredible. And I'm sure the classic dark blue is  waiting in the wings!

See what I did there?

OH! And speaking  of wings....they even gave the FALCON his wings!! That, plus the RED WIDOW.....now you're talkin!

I like all the 2 packs except the Psylock/Ninja Wovie. Surprised how much I like the Brood Wovie. That Sabretooth is the truth and I like the Wolvie too. That's the civilian one I wanted from his convo with Kurt right before Sloth rips through the ground and let's them know about the Morlocks being in danger. Love it.

Angel is the freakin Heater for me! Waited so long for him to be redone, and he's awesome!!!! Insta buy.

Angel was the best reveal of the day IMO. I will likely get the Fixit and Sabretooth 2pks along with the 2 Captain America figures.

Also just a reminder, Hasbro is going to be reducing their product runs of stuff in 2024, so those just thinking everything will end up at Ross or Ollies at discount next year, well you might be in for a rude awakening.

I really appreciate the concept behind the Marvel Studios line, being a vocal supporter of an idea for an evergreen ancillary line for newcomer collectors, but for the execution of these figures I really hope they don't overcharge for them.

It's a shame they went back to the inaccurate arc reactor shape for Iron Man with the shoddy solid white paintjob where the red from the plastic bleeds through. I would have contemplated getting this figure to keep MIB in display if they hadn't gone back to this blunder. In an ideal world, they could've re-released the MK 85 from the Thanos 2-pack with the colors of the original release. I think they could've slipped in the alternate hand with the Infinity Stones at the very least.

The interchangeable hands for the Iron Spider are a strong positive, but the inclusion of those trite web splats instead of the waldoes is not great. They should at least have included the Infinity War Iron Spider headsculpt with its paintjob from its No Way Home re-release.

Yeah as expected none of the Loga sets wowed me. Angel was really nice to see, especially in his red suit.

Agree. Not saying the Wolverines weren't good, just that figures he was paired with could easily been on their own. Disappointed that Falcon's gonna be a Target exclusive because lately they've been dropping the ball really hard. The next two winners for me were the Angel (Oh and they even showed what the wings look like from behind) and the Red Widow. Now just do classic Vanguard and the overlapping symbols of the Workers' State. And even though Select beat them to the punch, no reason they can't do classic Crimson Dynamo.

Outside of the MCU SM & IM, Good line up all around.

Thought the same about the Psylocke 2 pack too, but the Wolverine head sculpts are so good though!

Expectations were too high for the X97 revealed yesterday (I love the whole wave) but then ... Wolverine figures, ugh.

Just this week Hasbro was crying because people dont buy toys anymore, and then they launch two 2-Packs that people will wait for sales (Psylcke and Fix It packs), if they even get it, i wont because i dont need those versions and of course not interested in 20 wolverines. Then, an amazing Sabretooth with annooooother boring Logan and Lilandra with a WTF figure, here i dont know if people will get it at normal price or wait, but im not paying +40 dollars for Lilandra.

Falcon is mean that they released the figure without wings years ago and that Angel is wooooow, but mostly they will sell it with another non interesting or osbcure character.

Musta missed the 2 Caps. Both are needed! Walmart Ex will either be gettable, or completely impossible around me. Gonna have to order at work so a lot of these don't sell out.

Sucks that noon is so busy cause that Sabretooth is gonna sell out in minutes.....I think. Want both the orders tomorrow.

Maddy and X-Cutioner are still my favorites of what was shown today. Planning on buying that entire X-Men '97 Wave 2 except Magneto.

I have mixed feelings on the 2-packs. The Brood Wolverine thing caught me off guard as I wasn't expecting that and I don't really know that story. Really like the Lilandra though and she's definitely my favorite figure from the 2-packs. I'll buy the Sabreooth/Logan and JoeFixit/Patch 2-packs as well, but I can't say that I have a ton of enthusiasm about them - they look about exactly as I expected and I'll be happy to have them but nothing exceptional about them. Sabretooth will be a nice upgrade, though. The Lady Mandarin look for Psyclocke was a real surprise and now I'll likely skip that particular 2-pack, and I feel like it wasn't that long ago that the retro card version of that Wolverine was on clearance everywhere for $5.

Love the Red Widow, she's a must buy. Angel looks great with those large wonderful wings. He'll also be a nice upgrade.

Will be skipping the store exclusive Caps and the MCU retreads as I have no interest in those. Hail Hydra Cap is the only of those that is the slightest bit tempting.

All in all, some very interesting stuff. I really love Madelyne, Lilandra, X-Cutioner and Red Widow, probably in that order. Angel, Sabretooth and the other X-Men '97 figures are just varying levels of improvement on what came before and while I'm thankful for those improvements I really dislike re-purchasing characters.
