Wow, these look amazing and I normally hate animated style figures!

I'll probably only skip Magneto because I just don't like that costume but the figure itself looks outstanding, but I aleady got the first X-Men '97 version in the more classic costume. The big winner here is Goblin Queen because I had myself convinced that we'd never get any version of her, so I'm ecstatic about her inclusion! X-Cutioner for the first time in the 6" Legends line is awesome also, although he kind of looks under-scaled a bit compared to the other figures. The Jean and Kurt figures are very nice too with all of those beautiful pinless joints! I'll probably get Scott also for the same reason, even though I recently told myself I'd never need another Cyclops after getting the Astonishing version. I love that every character except Executioner comes with an alternative head and hands. It takes the sting of no BAF part away just a bit.

Wonderful wave! I'm stoked. These first 2 waves are so good that I find myself now hoping for a third even though I don't even know who it would include! I'm assuming that these will now be shared as part of the Hasbro Pulse Fanstream tomorrow? I really thought that was going to be all about the Wolverine 2-packs.

Always liked that Magneto look, probably gonna get him.

Definitely makes the Goblin Queen we coulda gotten look amazing, but I may still need to get her for the character. Wish they hadn't put those seams down her torso, so we coulda painted her.

Maybe that Kurt. Not enough for me to see if he's different. If there is anything significantly changed more than the face I'll grab him as well.

Is X ecutioner from the cartoon only? I have no re collection of him. (Not a big fan of the cartoon.)

don't say never. the show has already been green lit for at least 3 series. Not to mention even with this wave we are missing a Beast, Jubilee, Morph and Sunspot. You can easily make 4 wave of this show.

Some really nice reveals here.  No way I'm skipping on Madelyne or X-Cutioner, along with the Magneto because that costume is such a departure from everything we've gotten before.  Don't think I need more of the others, though.

I never cared for that "opera glove" costume for Magneto, but even with the big "M" it doesn't look quite as silly in 3d as it did in the comics. Not interested in these but they look good.

Oh duh...the pinless joints! You are right. I definitely will get another blue fuzzy elf! Honestly, (probably shouldn't let Hasbro know) but if there were a baf I'd get Jean and Scott. Having gotten the three pack with Logan, and the last Lee Cyke, I'll pass.

X-cutioner was introduced in the comics in the 90s, they even built a crossover around him (X-Cutioner's Song).

Thanks! I vaguely remember that title from looking through back issues. That must have been released after I quit reading comics for a few years later in high school. He does look cool.

I don't know if it was more risque than the Moondragon that was released, then again they were pretty salty about EOV failing so not surprised they didn't release it. No interest in either figure tbh, but from what I can see, AGAIN, they did a great job with the face. Not just a Jean Grey swap. And are those thigh boots molded on? I see a seam/lip there. Nice.

Love them all. Not the version of Goblin Queen we all wanted but better than nothing. Vast improvement on the rubber leg Jean Grey and the head sculpt for both females are amazing. X-Cutioner was something I lost all hope of ever seeing but there it is. But why does he seem so tiny? Now how about and Adam X figure. Though I don't really remember if he was on the animated series. Probably not.

I love that Goblin Queen design for the series and yeah this isn't  the comic book style everyone wants but it's a pretty decent design and figure is done well, at least judging from promo pics, a must buy for me, she will definitely do until we get the real deal.  Cyclops and Nightcrawler are a OK, but Jean could have been better, it's obvious they did put effort with all new sculpt and all but something makes her look way too plain.

X-Cutioner’Song was about the final fight between Cable and Stryfe. The villain X-Cutioner wasn’t introduced until the annual later that year and the crossover had nothing to do with him, tho he was likely a capitalization on the name, after the fact

LOL You are absolutely right.  For some reason I was channeling an old letter to Wizard Magazine where the writer made the same mistake I just did and I distinctly remember indignantly yelling at the page about how that person had never read X-Cutioner's song.  30 years later and I make the same mistake.  Total brain-fart on my part.  Very embarrassing.
