Loving how Blacklash turned out. Love the arrogant smirk they gave him too. I think still to this day one my fav stories with him was actually in PPTS Spider Man #101. He was just such a smug blowhard totally drunk on his own Kool-Aid, and all Spidey needed to do was hit him once in the face, lol. Great fun villain.

Yeah, I always felt he was way underpowered to be tackling Iron Man, and they nerfed shellhead to make Whiplash more threatening. Of course there's more than one version of him running around, so I could see him as a Daredevil foe, or Iron Fist...

The problem is that while Iron Man got upgraded, his villains never did. Take the metler as a good example, originally he could melt Iron Man's armour no problem and later, he was just some dude with a heat gun

Yeah Count, Blacklash and Shulk are super excellent figures, really just so happy for Nefaria and Blacklash, Shulk is just a nice fun figure to add to my Ladies or Marvel shelf, The Iron Men are so not even a consideration for me, don't want any of them, still wish that they had filled at least 2 of those Iron Men slots with new characters, but it is what it is. I just hope they keep putting these waves out, and frequently, because these IM retro card waves could really be the source of some awesome characters.

LOL the Melter....you know one day they were hitting a dreaded deadline doom, and had to make up a villain for Shellhead...Just look at his first costume (his others were garbage too). They just refused to put any thought whatsoever into this clown at all. Somebody had a tuna melt for lunch and went, "eh wtf".... The Melter. Because, he melts things.

Oh yeah, despite his awful look, he was a proper threat but like many he never upped his game or his fashion sense. Still wouldn't mind a Melter figure
