[Outsiders]

Florence Pugh recently posted a video on her Instagram account while on the set of Thunderbolts in Atlanta. She will be returning to her role as Yelena Belova, a character she first portrayed in the 2021 film Black Widow and the Disney+ series Hawkeye. In the video, Pugh gave a glimpse of her costume and a tour of the movie set.

Thunderbolts is scheduled to debut on May 2, 2025, with a cast that includes Geraldine Viswanathan, Olga Kurylenko, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen.

That would be nice. But if I can just get Sentry, I'd be fine without the rest. Maybe Red Guardian, too.

cause with the exception of Red Guardian and Sentry, all of the characters have been a member of the thunderbolts at one point in the comic before they announced this movie.

Looks decent, I'm game! US Agent seems pretty subdued this time around, but even so, I actually quite liked his character in the F&WS series, despite him being purposely unlikeable, if that makes sense. Everyone else looks great too. All I ask is that the movie be fun!

Well JohnF, I guess I coulda just watched the trailer and been instantly told that, lol. 

Trailer looks good, and yeah!...one of the greatest songs of the 90s (and Orange Cassidy's entrance theme) as the title song is nice. It really does look good. Still put off by the usual "what Shoulda beens" that I just have to get over and enjoy the movie. But yeah, everyone looks pretty cool l, nice big fight with eachother in the Mighty Marvel Way, love that. I'm lookin forward to it.

I wasn't expecting to feel much about this movie, but the trailer makes it look quite good, It has a Winter Soldier/Falcon x Winter Soldier/Hawkeye grounded vibe, I'm digging this as the direction for the next few movies, because Captain America 4 also has these vibes and I'm totally on board for that, we've had a lot of big scope wacky wild stuff with the Multiverse business so getting things that don't feel like magical ooh la la stuff is a good direction. to change things up a bit.

also why does it already seem like Red Guardian is going to be the best character in this movie, gotta say almost everyone else fight void of life and listless.

Glad to see that U.S. Agent is for sure getting a Shield of his own.  I figured he would of when I heard he was going to be in this movie, but glad to see that for sure, he will.

And having Valentina(Julia Louis-Dreyfus's character) as a Store Exclusive would make sense as well.  I will most likely get U.S. Agent for sure from this line, and Maybe Bucky.  Yelena Black Widow I'll wait and see, others will either be wait and see or for sure pass.  Not sure if I need female Taskmaster, while I'm sort of warming up to female Ghost, but still not sure if I need her in my collection.  Have to get a good look at how Red Guardian looks like in this movie, but since I got him from the Black Widow 2 Pack, I think I'll be okay with the 1 I have.

I really do like this cast. I was a little skeptical of this movie at first because it's pretty much just a bunch assassins and mercenaries with lower level powers and abilities. But now not only am I getting the obvious Suicide Squad vibes but it's also kind of Minutemen where it's just a bunch of people with fighting skills and only one person with actual alpha level superpowers is on the team. I guess the industry rumor is not only will Sentry (Bob) be a member of the Thunderbolts but he will also be the real bad guy in the film as Void who is being manipulated through his fragile mental state by an outside force. Not necessarily Val. My money is on The Leader. Looks cool so far. Love Bucky. Love USAgent. So glad to see he got a shield but what is that material it's made from. Doesn't look like Vibranium because that cant be pitted or scratched. It almost looks like stone. Or maybe it's made of the same material the Iron Man armor is made of. Or maybe even Adamantium.

I'm honestly emotional about it. I've read Thunderbolts comics since day one. I've been a USAgent fan since he showed up. I've just very excited to watch this movie. I wish it could get here sooner.

Where's the merch though? I'm a little worried about the small number of MCU figures per new movie and the fact that Thunderbolts does not even have any Marvel Legends. We might not get the movie Fantastic 4 in Marvel Legends. They are my birthday gift this year if/when they show up. So, I hate saying this for a movie I am not excited for. Hasbro show us those ML Thunderbolts!

I feel similarly… I’m only fully in on a Sentry figure since I have good enough versions of all the others. Maybe Valentina, but I’m kinda done with civilian figures for a bit I think. But if the figures look cool or if I really like how the character is portrayed, I may be swayed. I’m looking particularly at Taskmaster, since she clearly looks like a woman this suit around.

I have a feeling just like the Red Hulk that he'll be Bob ninety percent of the movie and only show up as Sentry for like 5 minutes at the end. Just so they can set him up to be the big bad for the next movie or some other movie. They'll spend the entire movie protecting him and being distracted and cobbled keeping him safe only to find out how powerful he actually was in the end. I'm certain of it.
