Huh. Just sounds like the same old thing. Let's find out who's writing these so called new beginnings. Then we'll know if Marvel is really commited to bringing the Mutants back to it's former glory or if it's just business as usual. As usual I will give it a fair shot to gain my support.

Forge's X Force sounds cool to me. I've been really liking everything going on lately and look forward to seeing who are on the teams. Dependant on those lineups I'll probably at least check out one of these, if not both team books.

I enjoyed the beginning of Krakoa, but felt like it couldn't last, so I'm glad to see it go.  Fall of X felt like a good start...feared and hated, but I just don't care for Orchis, and they are EVERYWHERE.

Loking forward to a continuation of the feared and hated, but without a homeland to run and hide on.

Don't take any of this as fighty or even a debate, but man, I love Orchis! The combo of AIM and the Sentinal program! Feilong is a cool villain! I feel like it's an interesting combination of Avengers and X Men villains and feel kinda real world ish to me. A huge global corporation focused on space and AI. Idk I have been really invested in the stories and love that Iron Man is involved as Feilongs nemesis is really nice. Love the new Hellfire club too and hope they expand. Dane Whitman Needs to be Tony's Black Knight! Take some of the millionaire heroes for Tony and the villains for the White King's (Kingpin) side.

It's always so interesting to me how much smart people who like almost exactly the same things can be of such differing opinions! Makes life interesting.

In the X-Men’s world, there’ll always be need for a team willing to cross the lines no others dare to—a group of mutants who call themselves X-FORCE! This July, on the edge of the From the Ashes era, the latest evolution of X-FORCE is born, specifically suited to this brash new age of mutant storytelling. Discover their impossible mission in the new X-FORCE ongoing series written by acclaimed screenwriter Geoffrey Thorne and drawn by kinetic X-Men artist Marcus To.

This time, this iconic comic book super squad will be built from the ground up by the mutant inventor—FORGE! Accessing an omega-level degree of his unique and complex mutant power to build anything, Forge will bear witness to everything broken in the world. Luckily, he knows exactly who he’ll need to repair it: RACHEL SUMMERS, BETSY BRADDOCK, SAGE, SURGE, and TANK. To save nothing short of existence itself, they’ll jump sword, gun, and fist first into deadly uncertainty, and the only thing getting in their way will be the secrets they keep!

A NEW PATH FORGED! The world is fractured. Forge uses his powers to devise the only fix: an all-new, all-different X-FORCE! Forge leads a custom-made, handpicked team of mutants in off-the-books missions so dire, so integral to the fate of the Marvel Universe, there’s no time to stop for permission! Plus, as Forge detects increasing threats across the planet, he’ll recruit specialists for each target. It’s a revolving door of Marvel guest stars and first up: that regenerating degenerate, DEADPOOL!

“I cannot believe the reaction to my pitch with, ‘That sounds like X-Force to us,’” Thorne shared. “It's a new vibe and a different mission, but it's still X-Force. Looking at all the books coming out under this banner, I'll just paraphrase the prophet, Sheryl Crow, ‘All I wanna do is have some fun,’ and looking at what I'm getting to do and what the others are bringing, I'm absolutely not the only one.”

“When Marvel approached me to be the artist for X-FORCE, I was ecstatic,” To added. “I was always a big fan of the X-books growing up, and to be a part of bringing that excitement to new and old readers alike was an opportunity I could not turn down. And the chance to draw Betsy Braddock again is icing on the cake!”

Last month, fans got their first look at what awaits Marvel’s line of X-Men titles following the bold Krakoan Age with the reveal of three flagship series: Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman’s X-MEN, Gail Simone and David Marquez’s UNCANNY X-MEN, and Eve L. Ewing and Carmen Carnero’s EXCEPTIONAL X-MEN. The expansive mythos of the X-Men has always made space for additional series that test the limits and explore the far-reaching scope of the mutant metaphor. Fresh spins on classic X-Men titles and startling directions for your favorite mutants are just ahead, starting in July with X-FORCE, PHOENIX, and NYX.

Be there for an X-Force like you’ve never seen them before, stick around to see who joins, who lives, who dies and uncover the mystery of Forge’s discovery. See the new lineup on Stephen Segovia’s X-FORCE #1 cover below and stay tuned tomorrow for another X-Men: From the Ashes series announcement!

Forge has surrounded himself with womens!

Uh, and whoever Tank is...

LOL. I was thinking this. But at least they're some of the coolest ladies. Love Rach and I'm team Betsy for life. Surge and Sage are just a few of those Overflow Mutants that never got much action and they really never knew what to do with them. Never was a fan of Sage until the Gifted television show that was unfairly cancelled right about the time it was getting good. Surge is just a poor man's version of Starlight that is just unremarkable in every way. But I guess in the hands of any skilled writer all she needs is some development. From what I can tell Tank is the short time Spider-Man enemy who was a mutant. Another size increasing powerhouse they decided to pull out of obscurity for no good reason. Somewhere Guido and Gentle quietly weep. Maybe in the White Hot Room.

I feel like this could be a Claremont book...the line up sounds like some of his greatest hits!

This summer may mark the end of Krakoa, but Forge’s mission is just beginning! Announced last week, Forge will lead the all-new iteration of mutantkind’s deadly strike team in Geoffrey Thorne and Marcus To’s X-FORCE. Set in the X-Men’s upcoming From the Ashes era, X-FORCE kicks off with Forge unlocking an Omega-Level aspect of his one-of-a-kind power of invention. Witnessing everything broken in the world, he builds the ultimate solution—X-FORCE, a team of handpicked mutants for off-the-books missions so dire, so integral to the fate of the Marvel Universe, there’s no time to stop for permission!

Today, fans can see this elite team on an assortment of new variant covers for the debut issue!

Superstar artist Clayton Crain returns to the world of X-Force with his own line of character-focused variant covers, starting with the team’s leader, Forge. Acclaimed Excalibur artist Mahmud Asrar draws mutantkind’s hottest new couple, Betsy Braddock and Rachel Summers, in action. And Tony Daniel assembles the entire squad including former New X-Men leader, Surge; the mastermind behind Krakoa’s X-Force, Sage; and Tank! Wait… Who?

Plus, like all of Marvel’s major launches, X-FORCE #1 will shine on stands with a special FOIL COVER. The title will frequently feature A-List guest stars that Forge recruits for specific missions, starting with regenerating degenerate, Deadpool! See him steal the spotlight in an outstanding piece by best-selling cover artist David Nakayama.

For some odd reason, I think "Tank" may be some version of Beast! Maybe pre secondary mutation? A. They def. went through the trouble of hiding his face. B. His feet/hands look a bit "Big" and C. Can you really have one of the OG Xmen break bad and just kill him off? Eventually, he would come back anyway. And just based off of Forge developing a Omega Level version of his power and seeing solutions to "broken" things, I can see Beast being necessary to "fix" broken situations. Lastly, this would add a bit of additional drama by putting X-Force at odds with other X members.
