New Marvel Legends Reveal This Week...Could It Be Deadpool And Wolverine Movie Figures?

Hasbro's Dan Yun today revealed we will be getting a new Marvel Legends reveal sometime this week along with the Marvel Legends Series 85th Anniversary Target Exclusive Warbird figure going up for pre-order on May 9th as we told you last week.
 

Now before we go any further I want to say I have no idea what the new reveal will be, however if I were to SPECULATE, I could see Hasbro finally revealing their Marvel Legends Deadpool and Wolverine figures based on the upcoming new movie. The main reason why I think this is possible is that we've already seen other companies showing off their Wolverine and Deadpool stuff in the last few weeks. This includes the Funko POPs of Deadpool and Wolverine as well as a statue of the two from Iron Studios. Since other companies have been given the green light by the studio to show their stuff it makes sense that Hasbro will soon be showing their figures off as well.

Dan Yun also previously said the Deadpool movie figures will not be debuted during a live-stream which likely means it will come via some website like maybe Marvel.com. I also don't think this reveal will be tied to a pre-order this week and if Hasbro reveals their Marvel Legends Deadpool and Wolverine figures my guess is that it will just be those two figures and not the entire wave. We've seen rumored listings for an entire Deadpool themed wave for this year so I feel confident there will be more than just the two main characters coming, unless of course the other figures in the wave are all comic based.

We also know there are more Marvel 85th Anniversary figures coming from Hasbro this year as well so, I could be totally wrong about Deadpool and Wolverine and it could be that Hulkbuster or Odin figure that we have seen indications are coming as well. Still, with other companies already showing Deadpool and Wolverine stuff I still feel like the Marvel Legends reveals will come sooner rather than later.

OH and Hasbro is expected to be attending the MCM London convention which takes place later this month from May 24-26. We should be getting Marvel Legends reveals there as well but I tend to doubt that is were they would debut Deadpool and Wolverine stuff for the first time. When the reveal, whatever it ends up being is made this week we will be sure to update you here about it.

He didn't really phrase it any way other than he mentioned a new reveal is coming in the same tweet chain while talking about the 85th Anniversary Black Widow going up for pre-order this week as well. So its possible it will be another one of those 85th figures that get revealed but again being companies are rolling out Deadpool reveals so Hasbro's turn should be coming up soon. Im thinking whatever it is will be revealed tomorrow, so hopefully we will find out one way or the other soon.

So was an 85th Anniversary figure though not one we were expecting. Its a Walmart exclusive Venom. No word on when it will go up for pre-order but likely next Collector Con event

Shown below via IGN is the new Hasbro Walmart Exclusive Marvel Legends Series: Venom (Marvel 85th Anniversary) Figure which is exclusive to Walmart in the US and Canada. The suggested retail price is $24.99 and will be released in Summer 2024.

Looks like they morphed two venoms into one… arms and legs from the Venom Amazon 3 pack and the torso from the movie venom/king in black body.. maybe trying to make venom appear a little shorter but bulkier at the same time?

just my 2cents based on the photos… I kinda like it especially the mcfarlane style head

New torso looks like or did they just fill in the holes in the back of the old one? Hard to tell, but if it is new they should of went all the way and did pinless legs and arms.

It's definitely a new torso. The older one doesn't the RYV style articulation and the Sony one doesn't have butterfly joined. The lower arms seem to be new as well.

I love this on the retro card, but I only need one Venom and have so many already. I feel like we just got the Knull version with the wings and then the Life Foundation 3-pack version. This looks fantastic but I'm not someone who wants to own more than one version of any character and while I like it, I'm only willing to buy it if it's going to replace all of the ones that I already have. I'm so tired of buying figures of the same characters over and over and over for minor upgrades. I wish they'd just give us one definitive version and move on, maybe occasionally re-issue that definitive version for those that missed it. There are so many characters that they haven't made yet that I'd rather they spend their efforts on. I'm happy for anyone that is excited for this, though.

I was happy they filled peg holes on his traps and only then realized it's a whole new torso, which is pretty surprising and good reuse potential, I think that body overall is closer to the classic Venom than the movie one, even though movie one has it's own advantages with texture and bigger shoulders. New head is truly terrific looking it's like modernized and refined McFarlane Venom look some artist do time to time, really well done.

My only complaint is that they didn't include new head closer to the package art, as cool as it is that 3 pack "tongue" head is very modern looking with squinty eyes and that oversized tongue should have been 50 percent shorter... I think I've seen someone trim that and it made that headsculpt 100 times better. Either way I'm definitely getting that figure, hopefully it's as easy to get as Walmart Dr. Strange was.

Good looking venom, but I think I'll pass on this, it looks a awful lot like that 3 Pack one we got a bit ago, not enough in the way of different to entice me to make another purchase, I already own so many Venoms, enough is enough for me right now.

Darn it Hasbro I was just reposing my Venom from the Amazon 5 pack and admiring how it was the Best Venom Ever and then you do this. Ugh! I swear this is the last Venom I'm ever going to buy. This is it. Putting my foot down. Last one ever. After that it's cold turkey for Venom.

Well there is supposed to be more Venom figures coming this year so rumours suggest, and a two pack with a Carnage or something, maybe you'll get a brock head somewhere in there, it would be cool to have a better looking Eddie head then the one that we got a while back that look like a character from Small Soldiers.

I'm sure that's a pretty easy Kitbash, I've seen people use the Hydro-Man body with the arms swapped out and with the Brock head on it.
