Shown below is a look at the new Marvel Legends Series Brown Suit Wolverine Figure from Hasbro that was put out today at SDCC!

Has anyone else brought up the lag time on these pre-orders??  Dec 2024 ship date?  Wonder why Hasbro didn't coordinate the release of these figures with the movie's release date.  Normally, movie/series toys appear at retail a month or two before the event.

Was Deadpool & Wolverine originally slated for late 2024 and then moved up?

I think this wolverine is the first figure of the secret wars wave. It's colors seem to be inspired by the original toy.

I was wondering if they'd announce the brown costume Wolverine during SDCC. It's been rumored/teased for a couple months now, plus this is the costume that Wolverine wears in the Konami X-Men game that also features the Pink/Purple Sentinels that were just released during SDCC. They've even got this display set up that way!

Really hope they get us an updated classic Cyke (maybe with the Secret Wars set?) The last one of that style I have is the original Sentinal ToyBiz version. But yes, this Wolvie looks good. Love the smirk!

it's similar but I don't think it's supposed to be based on the Konami game. It seem more based on this:

Nailed it with that gauntlet. I have no idea how people figure out some of this stuff so quickly. This is not a design that's bound in my memory on that kind of level.

Guh, brown suit is beautiful! My old Toy Biz one still holds a prominent place on my shelves because of that design, but maybe that retirement is finally approaching after 20+ years.

Gonna have to have it in-hand before I can really make that call. I don't generally put Toy Biz above Hasbro's output, but I truly do love that figure.

Okay, I love all that was shown but......Bit bare bones this year isn't it? Last year we had three waves a number of exclusives and more. This year we have exclusives, one 3 figure wave and a bunch of 2packs. I know they have Pulsecon but it's tiny compared to the last few years. The writer strikes and delays really it up huh?

I do too. Surely it'll happen sooner or later, whether its apart of this Secret Wars stuff or not. It needs to!

As for Wolverine, I'm digging the smirk as well but I'll be even happier if an alternate grrr or rawrr head is included.

Oh hey, that new Brown Suit Wolvie is pretty sweet looking, I've been saying for quite a while how I don't need more Wolverines (I have sooo many) but then they show me this...it feels like it's for the Secret Wars wave, it's got the 80's vibes going on, probably going to have to have that one, because it looks so iconic, really hope it comes with an alt head, neutral or angry, the smirk isn't my cup of tea.

it does look really good here with the rest of the X-Men characters in their Arcade looks, which one thing that stands out is we really need Cyclops updated in this suit, it's a high want for a toooon of people.

With the sentinel reveal and the lineup behind him, and the fact that it doesn't look at all like anything from Secret Wars, I think this is supposed to be the arcade game version.

Its based on the toy from the original secret wars line.
