Shown below via IGN is a look at the new Hasbro Marvel Legends Series: Kang the Conqueror & Marvel's Sentinels Figures from Hasbro .

Hasbro is releasing a new comic book-style Kang the Conqueror figure as part of the Pulse Con lineup, and this one includes a massive throne accessory. The figure comes packaged inside a deluxe box and includes an unassembled throne and base (consisting of nine pieces.) and eight accessories including alternate hands, blasters, and two character-variation faceplates.

Price: $59.99

This is the only new reveal that won't be limioted to Hasbro Pulse Con specifically. This Sentinels 2-pack is a more space and budget-concious alterative to the massive Marvel Legends Sentinel that was crowdfunded in 2020. These two 7.2-inch figures seems to be inspired by the enemies in X-men: The Aracde Game and come with nine accessories, including alternate hands and blast FX, and a boulder weapon.

Price: $54.99

Instant purchases for me for both! I hope that they're not hard to get!

I do wish that the Council of Kangs faceplates were actual alternate heads rather than faceplates, though.... and that the 2 Sentinels in the 2-pack had somewhat slightly different features in some way, instead of being exactly identical (as far as I can tell).

I'm tempted to try to get 2 Kangs and use the 2nd chair for King Thanos (if he'd fit).

I'm guessing kang will be the pulsecon exclusive and the sentinels this year's pulse site army builder.

But I do like that they are giving us variants of the kang.

Really didnt think id need another Kang. . This guy is spectacular.  Pulsecon huh? Well.... looks like that Pulse Premium membership is looking pretty good right about now

Definitely don't need another Kang, sure it looks really cool with the throne and the variant face plates, but Easy pass, I'm totally fine with missing that one, the Kang I already have is good enough.

Sentinels are quite a neat idea, like that they did this, I'm on the fence if I really need them though at this point, I kinda want them, but I'd rather just 1, don't need 2, or maybe I don't need them at all, I feel like I have sufficient Sentinel representation on my shelf with the Retro one and the Titan figure. I guess if the Sentinels isn't a bad price and isn't annoying to get I'd probably get it.

Nowwww so Excited for what's coming SDCC reveals baby!

My thoughts too. Definitely Pulse exclusives since there's no window packaging.

Did the sentinels ever look like this in the comics? Or just in that game?

The Sentinels were originally human size but no, these are entirely based on the X-men Arcade game.

Ok, I really want to get the Kang. Any idea how it will be made available? Will it be an exclusive or can I get it through Hasbro Pulse after Pulse Con? Will it be in stores (Game Stop, etc.)?

A bit inexperienced at this and any advice would be greatly appreciated. : ) I don't want to miss out on this one!

In general, there are limited quantities available on Pulse shortly after the convention. What is considered "limited" has varied greatly over the years. These are rarely available elsewhere unless Hasbro sells excess stock later that they weren't able to move on their site. What is more common is some other specialty retailers buying stock directly from Hasbro Pulse like you or I would and then offering at some level of markup to make it profitable enough to be worth doing so for them.

The more I look at the Kang, the more I see it's just the old one with some new hands and faceplates. Kang is one of my favorites of all time so this still isn't a debate for me, but I can definitely see it giving people who have the other one pause.

Thanks for the advice, Reno. I'll be ready to jump on Pulse as soon as the item goes live!

I can see why people may be miffed at Kang being the same figure with new accessories but realistically, I don't know how they could improve him. He's already pinless and the limitations in articulation are due to the costume design so I doubt they would have added more torso articulation or double elbows.

Also I just remembered that Kang Dynasty was originally supposed to release in May next year. That makes me wonder if maybe originally this Kang was supposed to be a movie figure and they were able to change it to be comic. Or at the very least it's a comic release meant to tie into the movie's release like they sometimes do.

well at least he is a Pulsecon exclusive that few will get. It's not like the Detroit Steel last year. This is a character we have already so it's perfect as a exclusive.

60 bucks for the Kang?? Jesus, I'll pass.

They've been testing the waters with that new price point to see just how easily collectors would fold.  And a lot of them did. They laid off workers but made dang sure their CEO's got million dollar bonuses. I guess they gotta make that up somewhere....the Kang figure isn't new though. The throne is a great addition but doesn't justify this markup. If they knock $15.00 or even $10.00 off, it'll go down better.

I feel like the Kang chair is destined for a Pulse sale at some point, but with lower production runs I'm not going to hang my hat on it.  I don't think I need it regardless.  I have an army of Kangs as it is, and $60 seems a bit much.

I like the Sentinels though.  Might have to limit myself to just the one pack, though I am an army builder by habit, even with things that would not conventionally be seen to be army builders (see Kang note above).

So the boulder "clue" they gave us months before is this accessory for the Sentinels. Come on!  Literally thousands of characters/events/locales over the past decades that could have been linked to. That's really vague. LOL
