Hasbro Pulse Con Starts this Friday, September 13th at 1 pm EDT!

With so, so many characters not done and teams incomplete, Hasbro instead announces slightly tweaked characters that have been repeated hundreds of times already (Spidey, Cap, Wolverine & Iron Man) and all in the same wave!  It is both lazy by Hasbro and a real snore.

Titania and beyonder are the big winners for me. Still can't get a good cap shield with cap, still using my capwolf shield.

The more I think about the Secret Wars theme, the more excited I get! Lots of possibilities for some tweaks and updates (classic Klaw, Absorbing Man, Cyclops) and some more newbs, like Volcana. Ah, the Wrecking Crew are all due for an update as well.

The Buckycap II shield may do nicely (been looking into that one myself).

Only Wolverine for me....as Ive restricted my buying to only X-Men figures...but Titania and Beyonder are AWESOME!!

I agree with other opinions,this would be a great line to get more classic figures like Cyclops, Klaw, Volcana  and the Wrecking Crew.

I was hoping to see the rumored Marvel vs. Capcom figures but the Secret Wars stuff was nice, mainly Beyonder and Titania. Not including an alternate Rhodey head for that Iron Man was a baffling choice. I definitely would have bought it if it came with one.

Might be mistaken, but isn’t there a Chameleon figure rumored for next year? Maybe that is what the flat mask/head thing is for?

Nothing announced that I am overly excited about. I think the secret wars wave is cool, but nothing I plan to pick up this time around. The Vulture/spidey pack is neat, but I would be more inclined to get a decent comic Vulture over the animated series version. (Also, I see that there are two unmasked Spidey heads- one is Peter, but is the other supposed to be Flash Thomson? I vaguely remember an episode where he had dressed as Spider-man, but I am not sure if that is who that headsculpt is…) Will likely pass on that set. Already have a Kang figure, so I am content there. Looks like I’ll be saving a bit of money this time around.

Troubling that after all this time they still haven't bee able to figure out a Captain America sized body model with butterflies. The day they get it figured out it will open up a ton of opportunities to redo a heck of a lot of characters.

Dan Who? Reviews got a chance to participate in a Hasbro unboxing event over in London today giving us additional looks at several of the new Marvel Legends figures revealed yesterday during Hasbro Pulse-Con.

From the new Secret Wars line they got to open the Black Costume Spider-Man and Classic Iron Man figures which you can pre-order today from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth!

They also got a chance to look at the new Spider-Man Animated Series VHS Vulture and Classic Spider-Man 2-pack which is available now on HasbroPulse!.

Titania! finally.

It's really all about Titania and Beyonder here, Wolverine is a maybe, he looks like a top notch Brown suit wolvie but...more of the same characters, I can't believe that they didn't include a Rhodey head with Iron Man and Arc Reactor is the wrong color, such a flop, Cap not coming with a regular Shield also a huge miss, the figures look good but those are strikes against Hasbra, Don't need em anyways..20th Cap and 80th IM are still my ones, Black suit spidey whatever already have the previous one, the Amazing Fantasy buck(?) is a good choice for the figure.

I hope they keep this subline going and give us some much needed characters like Wrecking Crew & Volcana.

Hey I'm just happy this wave wasn't entirely re-dos of big characters at least we got 2 awesome new figs.

I am stoked to get same first three you mentioned. Titania and Beyonder are much wanted, and would like the Brown Wolverine simply for nostalgia sake. (The original release was my first superhero action figure back when it first came out .)

I am definitely hoping for a Wrecking Crew update!  I won't get a single one, but since I have  3 out of the 4 that came out a few years ago, I would love to see the price drop on that old Thunderball, so I can complete my set.

I like this Cap figure, the proportions of it. But I gotta say the majority of this wave is a little too much of the same. You see Iron Man, Wolveriine, Spiderman and Cap figures everywhere.

What could have been if Hasbro used existing parts/shoulders from Falcon or Shang Chi, Not even mentioning how many future figures could have been improved.

Exactly why its a pass for me. The only thing they missed was Deadpool. Its so aggravating to hear them go on about "anniversary this, anniversary that" and yet basically ignore the vast majority of characters created in that 80+ year span of publication. They can have these guys, sure, but drop in some others now and then. Hell I thought it being Friday the 13th, and with the announcement of Man-Thing, they might do some horror-themed characters like Werewolf By Night, maybe a classic Son of Satan or Satanna, that kind of thing. Hey, even Man-Wolf, to hit that Spider-Man spot. 

What are the chances that in the 3 months before the new year, they might do something like Red Wolf or Killraven. MAULER, Gladiator, Sunturion, El Aguila? Finish out some of these teams like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Inhumans, Starjammers?  Let's see Warriors Three, Beta Ray Bill, Wrecking Crew, Frightful Four (Sandman in his green armor).

There are a lot here that I'd like to see, but I don't have high hopes for them...knowing Hasbro that is.

Agree. To be honest I doubt we'll see ANY of those even in 2025. Its just gonna be the Usual Suspects. Of course they'll do an Iron Man with the correct color unibeam/ ARC reactor, which will be the exact figure they already did. In other words minor tweaks here and there but nothing earth shattering. Its all just very bleak, lazy, greedy and disappointing.

What I'm pondering about is the fact that if the leaked list for the Capcom figures are true, then some of these secret wars figures will be re released in two packs. Like cap and iron man that just don't seem right does it? Oh and @ Atlantis would love any of those figures you mentioned throw in the Looter for good measure.

With some exceptions, this more or less describes the current state of collecting ML.

Even though I like the Peter Park head sculpt, and the Vulture looks pretty cool, this 2-pack is an easy pass for me. Steering clear of the VHS figures has not been too difficult for me, especially the cel-shaded ones. Beyonder is a no brainer. Locked that one in immediately. Still on the fence about Titania and brown-suit Wolverine. Honestly, something is throwing me off about this Wolverine. I'm a bit partial to the one they did as part of the vintage line a while back.

I thought Hasbro moved on from the Spider-Man 2099 mold and use the RYV mold as the standard mold for Spider-Man. This feels like a significant downgrade.

I'm still a little confused why they didn't hang on with that Secret Wars Dr Doom. He woulda looked so perfect on this card with his shield, instead of releasing him in that 2 pack. I also expected a Baron Zemo with the fur tufts on the shoulders. I so vividly remember him in the stores. That figure is responsible for me investigating who he was, and Zemo getting on my short list of favorite villains.

Totally agree. I am now expecting there will be no new Wanda figure announced despite it being her 60th Anniversary.
